A Smiley Face in the Sky

I guess a lot of us are not happy with the political situation in Bangkok and you can really feel the tension between 2 parties of red and yellow. It’s best not to put on clothes in these 2 colors, unless you are looking for trouble or showing your support for a particular party. To me, it’s best to play safe and act dumb. But I really wonder if there will be bl**d on the street? Sigh…

But there is something here tonight that cheered me up. As we were driving back home, and the sky was very dark even if it’s only 6.30pm, we saw a smiley face in the sky. It was Isabelle who saw it first and kept telling me, “Mommy mommy, look at the moon!”

When Jupiter and Venus meet the Moon, there is smile in the sky. But astronomers call this rare natural phenomenon as Earth Shine because the light on the Moon is the reflection from Earth.

Even my kids were excited to see the stars and moon “arranged” in such a way. It did put a smile on everyone of us.

Justin’s New Purple Knit Tee

I know that mummy said I should keep this for Chinese New Year, but I couldn’t resist the temptation of wearing this tee to music class last weekend. It’s so big but I like it. It’s purple, you know? My favorite color! Besides that, that giraffe is cute, even if daddy said the neck is too short. @#$#%@ LOL!

BTW, did I tell you that mummy is going to knit another tee for me? It’s going to be orange this time, and with a horse in the middle. I wanted another purple tee but mummy said cannot woh. Why? Why cannot? Why no purple?

Ok, I admit that these photos were not nicely taken. In fact, they are quite blur, not sharp, and the colours not right too. But I like their smile……..and hubby also thinks they are nice.

Love is in the Air

Suddenly, I felt like writing about crushes. You know, in Cantonis, we called it “am luen”, which means that you like someone, but haven’t told him or her yet. Since Valentine’s Day is coming, it’s a good opportunity to express your feelings. But then, if you’re not bold enough to go to that extreme, how about sending him an eCard?
