Hubby and I have been together for 9 years now and we supposed to go to Hawaii on our 10 years anniversary. He promised me a nice trip to Hawaii when we were dating, but he only remembered this last year after a “friendly” reminder from me.
I know that he’s working hard for a better future by moving to Bangkok, and we need a lot of money for this plan. I don’t think we have the budget for a fancy honeymoon in the near future, so I can forget about the trip to Hawaii now. Hubby never mentioned anything about it either, maybe he’s forgotten about it again or he’s pretending that the promise never exists?
Anyway, I don’t really mind if we can’t make it next year as long as he gives me a unique anniversary gift. It doesn’t have to be something expensive, but please don’t give me flowers anymore. I have had enough of flowers every Valentine’s Day, and I hope to receive something like shares of stocks that will bring me lots of money in the future other than flowers!
If you are wondering if I’m preparing anything for him, yes I am. I am knitting a vest for him, but due to the numerous knitting projects for my kids, I keep putting the vest aside. However, I made up my mind of not buying any yarn balls until I’ve completed his vest. That sounds fair enough huh?

I love flowers, that’s why hubby keeps sending me flowers on special days. However, he’s also using it as an excuse of not buying other gifts because it’s not hard to get flowers anywhere. Maybe he doesn’t need to impress me with 999 stalks of roses to me, so it has never crossed his mind to buy wholesale roses before.
Frankly, the bouquet of roses he got me on Valentine’s Day is rotting somewhere in the house. It’s a waste but it’s better than not getting anything on special days. Besides that, I have had enough of perfumes too! So dear, keep sending the flowers, but make sure there are other gifts attached to them.

I have to start getting back to knitting again because I want my kids to have new knit wears for a wedding dinner in March. Our neighbor is getting married and she’s going to have her wedding at the hotel. She gathered lots of Wedding Ideas and wedding resources from searching for them on the internet. She even told me that there’s a website for Malaysian Brides!
Maybe the website was not available at time I planned for my wedding. Anyway, no one wants a second wedding, so I don’t have to check out the information anymore! But if you are planning for yours, check out the website, ok?

After the trip to Langkawi, hubby and I plan to have a honeymoon trip once a year if possible. I have a few places in mind like Hawaii, Europe, Nepal or New Zealand, but maybe we should just try something romantic at one of those all inclusive Cancun Vacations. Both of us haven’t been to Mexico, so it’s going to be an exciting experience for us.
I like sunbathing and my ideal vacation is doing nothing but lying in the sun. Of course, it would be nice to do some shopping, so I wonder what’s nice in Cancun? I will find out more about this next time when we are planning for a trip. For the time being, all I have in my mind is Bangkok!

Hubby has this dream of travel around with me once he retired. I guess it’s not going to happen in the near future as he’s starting all over in a new business again. By the time he’s retired, our kids might have graduated from tertiary education, and that is such a long way to go!
But like most couples, I do hope that we can travel around and visit some of the interesting places like Las Vegas at least once in my life time. I’ve heard so much about it, and not to mention, I want to visit Bellagio which is one of the famous Las Vegas Hotels.
So, how long should I be waiting? 20 years? I will be so old.

I’m not good at remembering dates. I can’t remember the first day I went out with hubby, or our whatever first, and I forgot his birthday at least twice when we were pat toh and etc etc etc….You got the idea of how forgetful I am now?
That’s why hubby doesn’t be bothered to celebrate anything. If he didn’t mention, I won’t remember anyway, so he can save his money time breathe on celebrating those anniversaries with me. If I remember all those date and demand a nice jewelry from him, I will end up with lots of diamond rings by now!!!!
Gee…he really saved up a lot over the years….

Some friends of mine are afraid of coming back for gathering especially during the festive season. They are afraid of being asked why are they still single and not married? If they have found someone special, I think they won’t be questioned that much.
It’s not that they want to stay single, but they can’t find the right ones yet. If they are seeing someone special, how hard it is to get married? Wedding Planning is a piece of cake these days if you try to find out more about it online or get a wedding planner to do it for you. Of course, if you have the money for it, you can get a wedding planned in no time.
But the main problem is, where to get the bride or groom in the first place? LOL!

Some of my friends are busy attending wedding dinners and tea ceremonies. I don’t have any wedding invitation, and even if I do, I have to skip some of them. I love weddings, especially those which nice well planned and romantic. I went through a lot of hard work to make my wedding as near to my expectant as possible, but within our tight budget.
I got my wedding bouquet designed with strawberries and I loved it. If you are looking for wedding flowers, check out the various options available from FiftyFlowers.com. You can get your flowers delivered by Fed Ex if it’s ok with you. But if you want to have fancy bouquet like my strawberries, I doubt that it can be delivered by courier!

A friend of mine is getting married soon and I supposed to show her my wedding photos. I can’t make it back today, so I guess I will only show her when I’m back to Ipoh later. She has been busy preparing for her wedding which will be held next year, and she would like it to be simple.
I think a simple wedding can still be special with you add some unique wedding favor ideas in it. As long as the wedding theme is what she’s been hoping for, it’s a perfect wedding to her no matter how grand or simple the wedding is.

I have a fight with hubby and I’m very angry about him. I don’t think I can easily get over it, so I’m not going to pretend that everything is fine by hiding things away from my blogs.
I’m not sure what will hubby do to ease my anger, but if he knows me well, he should know that I might be feeling better if I get something nice from him. Maybe some gift baskets for women might do the trick, if he gets the right combination of goods, of course. I don’t cook, so the basket cannot be filled with food, but something like luxurious toiletries might be more appropriate.
But am I going to wind things down? I’m still not sure about it.
