Lilypie 4th Birthday TickerLilypie 3rd Birthday Ticker

I told Justin that I can’t carry him much as he’s getting heavier. Then, he replied, “Why mommy? You are old already?” O.o

I’m not afraid of getting old gracefully, but I will do my best in preventing myself from premature aging with all sorts of lotions available at the cosmetic counters. When I’m 40 years old, I think I will be spending more money on my face because the more advanced the anti aging products, the more expensive they will be! I don’t think hubby has to crack his head thinking about my 40th Birthday Gift as he can easily get some from those cosmetic counters. As long as he goes for the more expensive range, he won’t make any mistake. LOL!

Since my kids are older then, they can easily find out more about 40th gift idea online and get me one of the nicest birthday presents. Of course, they might not be able to pay for their purchases, so hubby will have to fork out the money again. LOL!

But what I really want to do on my 40th Birthday is having a nice dinner with my kids, hubby and my parents. I don’t know where will we be by then, but hopefully all of us can get around together.

When I first graduated from university, it was not that easy to find a job. Some of my friends continued their master degrees but I would only continue in school mba only after gaining a few years of working experience. I was clueless about what kind of job I would get and how would I know if an MBA is needed?

However, I didn’t manage to get one since it’s not necessary in my previous jobs. Besides that, I am too lazy to go back to studying! But if I would to get an MBA, I will do it online. I can’t possibly leave my kids and go back to school.

I woke up every early this morning. As a matter of fact, I don’t sleep much since we arrived in Bangkok. There is always so much to do when we get back home and by the time I get things done, it’s way past midnight. Then, I have to get up early to prepare the food and get the kids ready to leave for the office with us.

I think I better get some supplements now and I wonder if kava works for me? Frankly, it’s quite stressful now and I hope that I will be coping well. Maybe I can just get the herbal drinks to enhance my health huh?

I brought along some vitamins, so I better start taking them tomorrow.

I used to drive an old car when I was studying. My dad sold it away once I graduated as it needed a lot of maintenance just to keep it running well. I remembered that I used to curse the car because it wasted a lot of my monthly allowance because it kept breaking down all of a sudden and the mechanic was always pleased to see me! If I knew about midwest auto recycling during those years, I would have sent it for recycling to save myself from all the troubles of repairing it.

But come to think of it, I should feel grateful of having it. Without that car, how could I go shopping or clubbing with friends at uni? I don’t think I could even attend my classes on time if I need to get a public transport!

So, I wonder where is that car now? Being scrapped? Or someone is still driving it?

I thought of perming my eyelashes again but I had totally forgotten about it when I went for my facial. My beautician did it for me a few times, but my soft lashes can’t hold the curl for too long. After a month or two, they will go back to normal. I don’t know how to stick on the fake lash everyday, and when I went to fix the permanent fake eyelash that last for 3 weeks, everyone said I looked like a doll. Too fake already!

Have anyone tried eyelash hair transplants? I heard about it, but someone told me that you might need to trim the lashes if they grow too much? Really ya?

That’s why I’m getting more particular about mascara nowadays. I buy a new one every few months because I use it quite often. Besides that, it’s best to change the mascara every six months. Talking about mascara, I better remind myself to get a new one from the airport. It’s cheaper there mah…

Some said that Isabelle is looking more like hubby. I thought that she looks more like me now? LOL! She has a round face, just like me. Just hop over to my personal blog and you can see how rounded my face is. I used to be really bothered about it when I was a little girl as my face was like a moon!!! Furthermore, I had more baby fat and it was much rounded and fatter.

But as I age, I begin to have sharper facial structure, it’s still round, but not as round as “cham chem peng”. :P My grandparents used to tease me about it. Anyway, I just hope that Isabelle won’t “blame” me for giving her the rounded face gene. Hopefully, she will have taller nose later, and she won’t consider a naples nose plastic surgery. Even if plastic surgery is pretty common and most Korean parents will send their daughters for restructuring once they are older, I hope that my kids won’t have to go for that.

It’s best to learn how to accept ourselves huh? But frankly, if my kids really want to go for it, there’s nothing much I can do about it except talking about the pros and cons. What else can we do when they are all grown up?

We had a busy morning. Firstly, hubby went to get his international license fixed and after that, we went to the hospital for my ear check up. I don’t feel pain anymore after a week of antibiotic and some nasal spread, but my right ear still can’t hear well. There’s still some pressure inside and the audio test showed that it’s not full recovered. The NET specialist doctor said it takes time to heal but I have to take some precaution since I’m flying next week. So, I better remember well what to do on the plane later.

Anyway, I was given some medicine again, but I won’t take it that much now. I really don’t want to depend much on painkiller for the fear of addiction and ended up in drug rehabilitation. :P But still, I better take some before the plane descending as that’s when the pressure changes a lot.

In short, don’t take flu easily as it might develop into an ear infection, and it’s painful!

I’m feeling better today and the pills help a lot. I am a bit skeptical when it comes to taking medicine, but since my ear infection is pretty bad, I can’ do without a dose of antibiotic. Anyway, after I’ve finished the medication, I might buy some health supplement which will be sent over to Bangkok.

I’ve heard about the benefit of kava, and if you are looking for a supplement that will help in reducing stress, maybe you should give it a try. I don’t think my life is stressful at all, or maybe it’s a different story later when we relocate? If it’s too hard to start all over again, then I really need some stress relieve pills. LOL! But judging from my preference, I will just go for shopping and do some yoga to destress myself. It works most of the time.

I went to see an nose, ear and throat specialist just now. I suspected that my flu has developed into a painful ear infection, so it’s best to see a specialist soon before it’s getting worse. True enough, my right ear is infected. And ai yea…I hate to see the inner parts of my ears and nose from the microscope!!! So disgusting!

But at least I am given some pill killers and knock-me-out pills that make me as drowsy as can be. I slept through the afternoon today and dreamed about shopping for LV, Gucci, Royal Oak offshore, Coach and Prada. LOL! Just kidding la…I really slept and in deep sleep for 2 hours. Hubby instructed the kids not to bother me and my maid was asked to stop them from coming upstairs. Wah, being sick is quite good too sometimes, if my ear is not that painful!

Talking about my ear, it better heals faster before my next flight to Bangkok. I don’t want to risk myself from having an ear bleed or bursting the ear drum. Gee…let’s see what’s the doctor say on my next appointment.

I’m having a terrible ear ache and headache now. I don’t know if it’s migraine but it’s irritating and I can’t concentrate much. My kids wanted my full attention just now, but luckily they listened to me and went to nap. No reading, no playing, no having fun with mommy. I just can’t do it. It feels like I finished all the bottles on the wine racks and having a severe hangover!!! I’m so not ME now.

I better go to the doctor soon. It’s too painful and I need some pills. Frankly, I hate to be sick. Sigh…
