I didn’t get my facial done before CNY and it’s the first time in many years. All the while, my ex-beautician would arrange a facial for me, and I’ve been one of her long time customers for 10 years. The main reason why I didn’t get it done this time is, we are going to the beach again, and there is no point getting the face done now. SIL is going to bring me for laser treatment, yeap, my first laser whitening treatment. A whitening facial comes after the treatment. She’s been doing this for a year, and it’s very effective.
I’m going to give it a try, if it’s good, then I will think about the package. You can’t be exposed to the sun within a few days after a treatment so she suggested that we postpone it to some time next week.
I might also check out the skincare products as SIL highly recommended them. Her sister tried the natural products for acne and they work. She is using the whitening range and she said it’s much better than most popular brands. So, I’m very tempted to try!
I can’t believe the number of photos I’ve taken since I had Justin and Isabelle. 80% of the photo are about them and just them. It’s crazy to be snapping so many photos, but it’s something I will cherish for years to come. I’m still working on some photobooks, but I will take it slowly. I will only send them out for printing if there is a good promotion. LOL!
My Dell is exploding soon, so I got myself another external drive. There are wayyyyy so many photos taken since last November. Even if I could just use online backup and my Flirkr pro account, but I still want to keep them in drives. Mmm…if I fly back to Ipoh one day, I will sure to bring all my backup CD here so that I can keep all my photo collections. I wonder how many photos I have taken for the past 5 years…
Hubby planned to celebrate my birthday at Millennium Hilton last weekend, and all of us had a great time there. Isabelle loves the suite so much, she insisted that we should stay in the room most of the time. LOL!
We basically spent the whole time here, and the kids love the pool and the sand. It’s nice to have SAND in the city!
If you are wondering if I get any pressie from hubby, the answer is NO. I got nothing but a great weekend with my family, and it’s more worthy than a nice handbag. LOL! But of course, a nice gift will complete everything, but judging from my many years with hubby, he can’t get the right gift. He might just buy anything that comes in his eyes, or persuaded by the salesperson. Luckily, so far he didn’t get me truck accessories or any funny thing, if not I really have to piak his head jor…
More photos are shared in FB, and I’m getting very lazy in posting photos here. Really no paid post money no mood to blog that much jor. LOL!
I’ve always taking my health for granted but my perception changed after my incision. Somehow I think it’s time to take good care of myself for the sake of taking care of my kids. I don’t want to end up with another bed rest with catheter inserted in the near future again! Even if I can get some help from my parents, but I think it’s best to take good care of myself.
I haven’t joined any yoga class due to lack of time, but I’ve started swimming with the kids. Justin loves swimming and he goes to the pool a few times a week. So, I will join him for a nice dip in the water, and swim for a while. Too bad our pool here is too small for a lap, if not I would surely want to find out how much I can swim now.
I don’t have a lot of friends in Thailand due to my language barrier. Sometimes, I don’t even understand their English.
But recently, I know this nice lady from my kids’ art class and she’s quite a pleasant person to talk to. To me, there is a huge money gap between Thai people. They can be quite poor but those rich Thai people are very very rich! Serious! You can see the difference by the way they dress, talk, the schools their kids attend and maybe by the locations of their houses. But I am quite surprised with this rich lady because not only that she’s friendly to be my translator (oh ya, there are other mothers too), she even helps me with my kids when I pick them up and bring them to the car park.
In Thailand, it’s best to pack your car with the front facing out so that it’s easier to drive out. Other cars can pack in front of yours in N mode, and that’s legal. No one scratches your car if you do so, thus don’t worry.
But yesterday, a big truck was packed in front of mine, and as I was busy buckling up my kids, this lady approached me and gave me a hand of pushing the truck. I know that I could not do it on my own, and even if I could, I might have pushed it too much and hit the car behind. Gosh, who’s auto insurance should we claim if that happens? LOL!
I’m quite touched to see her stepping out from her BMW and gave me a hand. It took us quite a while to push that big truck too, aiyo, 2 ladies pushing a truck is no play play man. LOL! Where were that security guards when I needed one? Sometimes, they will just follow me to my car if I’m pushing a trolley. They will help me to push the trolley away and also lead a way for my to drive out. Ya, the “parking service” in Bangkok is awesome.
But funnily, we could not spot any security guard yesterday. Thank god this nice lady was willing to help me. Besides that, it’s nice to get a new friend.
I hate to be sick because even if I’m sick, it’s hard to get a proper rest. But for the coming weeks, I will need some rest. This time, my mom will be here to stay with us for a while, so she will help us with our kids. There is a school break next month, so my parents will be here to visit their grandchildren, and later on, my mom stays back.
With her around, I will go for a minor incision. Don’t worry, it’s nothing serious, I hope. But after that, I need to rest for days, and probably can’t do much at home. I don’t need an electric scooter though, but just a few days of bed rest will do.
I’ve finally got my new toy, after thinking and thinking and looking and looking and thinking and thinking for so long…It’s going to take me a while to “understand” this new toy better as currently I’m totally mesmerized and lost with it. LOL!
Once I get the hang of it, I will get myself another micro sd to store the pretty things that come out of it. Right now, there’s nothing yet. LOL! I’m still very very lost with it!
Most of the people at the office are clueless about what I do every working day. I don’t have a job title, and I only do those stuffs as required by hubby. So, most of the time, they will only see me typing and surfing and chatting online. LOL! Maybe I should tell them about my blogs huh? But I doubt they will read it.
Nonetheless, I couldn’t care less about their thoughts as I’m pretty busy this month. We have to restructure the website again, and it’s going to take me some time to come out with the website contents and graphic. I better check out these data protection solutions to backup my files and protect our customer data too. Currently, I’m still using CDs, and there are already a few CD scattering around in my drawer. Sigh….I’m so unorganized!
Let me go through all the product details and photos first. I really need some time to go through the info before producing the contents. I think the office staffs will be wondering why am I so busy again suddenly and I’m clued to the laptop all day long. Never mind la, this time I will tell them to go to the company’s website, once it’s done!
I went to the dentist just now, finally! It’s not really painful, but it’s best to get my wisdom tooth X-ray and get the dentist’s advice. Apparently, this tooth could not come out as well, like the previous one. It was hitting against my bone at the back and my gum was inflamed. He advised me to take out immediately and I almost freaked out! All those hammering and drilling came into mind and I was terrified!
But he assured me that it won’t be painful and scary. The nurse even held my hand when the dentist jabbed me with anesthetic. They kept telling me to relax, but seriously, I couldn’t. LOL! The main difference between this procedure and the past was this dentist placed a cover on my face so that I couldn’t see anything. It was more assuring as I couldn’t see all his tools and I could have my eyes shut occasionally. He didn’t hammer my tooth too, but just drilled it. It is really better and less scary than the procedure I had in Ipoh.
My tooth was extracted fully as one, unlike previously when the tooth was smashed into a few pieces. I should have snapped a photo of the tooth huh? LOL! The best thing is, it only cost me 2180 baht, and it’s 50% lesser than I paid in Ipoh!
So, I’m in a bit of pain now, and I can’t eat. I swallowed my mihun which SIL bought for lunch. Cannot chew much, so let’s see if I will lose some weight without Phentermine pills. LOL!
Ya, I’m teething. You didn’t read it wrongly. My wisdom tooth is coming out and it’s bothering me to the max! It’s painful, and I think it’s protruding towards my last molar because it’s out of space.
I had one of the wisdom tooth removed a few years ago, and even if it’s a small procedure, it’s pretty scary to me. I saw how it’s being extracted, like incising my gum, “grinding and drilling or hammering” (whatever the term is) to break the tooth into smaller pieces before pulling them out. I tell you, when I saw the whole process from the reflection of the light above, I almost pengsan. Did I mention that I couldn’t drink water as the water came out from my mouth a few hours after anesthetization? And I couldnt’ eat for the first few days except “tasting” my own blood? No need to take Anoretix also can lose weight ok? Gosh, why am I going through this again?
The previous x-ray showed that I should remove both wisdom teeth at that time, but after removing one, I kiasi liao. I told the dentist to leave it alone until it’s painful. Manatau, it’s painful now!!! So, I am easily irritated, and I can’t enjoy food. How ah? Go to the dentist here in Bangkok? Kiasi la…
