My MIL has a joint problem, so she has warned me a few times not to wear heels for the steps. I surely don’t want to have a joint problem later when I am old!

BTW, if you have a joint implant, make sure that it’s not from DePuy Orthopedics. If not, you might want to call this hip recall lawyer from this law firm.

I had a pretty bad scald when I was in high school, but it didn’t leave any scar behind. I was camping with my friends, and I accidentally poured hot boiling coffee on my fingers while filling up the mugs. Okie la, I admit that I hardly do this type of task at home, so I was very clumsy.

I didn’t tell anyone but went to cool my fingers with running water, but after a while, blisters started to form and I was in pain. Needless to say, I was brought to the doctor for treatment. So, getting scald or burn is really no joke!!!

I also tell my kids not to enter the kitchen when I’m cooking or the soup is boiling. You just don’t know when accident can happen, so it’s best to be extra careful. Some times, my kids still walk into the kitchen on their own, but I will probably nag and nag, or rush in to check on them. I’ve seen kids with burn scar, and it’s a painful healing process. I better be over protective than reckless about this.

So far, I haven’t stock up any Burnshield for burns at home, as most of us would probably know that the first thing to do is to rush to the hospital. But then, if you are looking for Burn care products, check out the links. Taking care of a burn patient takes a lot of time and these burn care products might be useful, if you get the permission from the doctor to use any.

Some expats bought international insurance coverage, not sure if North Carolina health insurance is one of them though.

Our office was broken into last night. No wonder everyone looked so tensed this morning. The burglars took some PC from the engineering room, and that’s all. They didn’t break into our office, which have more cash checks and cash. Thank god the door was locked before the last one leaves the room.

SIL and the staffs tried to view the incident from the surveillance camera, so maybe they have seen the suspects. I didn’t join in because I had some work to settle as soon as I walked in. The policemen came shortly after, and the written report should have done by now.

I’m not sure if our office asset is insured, so I hope that the PCs taken don’t have a lot of R&D drawings and work stored. Die loh, if the engineers lost everything and have to redo all the drawings. Frankly, why steal PCs? It’s not like they can be sold for lots of cash. They should have gone for the company trucks. LOL! Just kidding la. Not that I really hope that it happens, and it better don’t! No any aussie accident cover or car lost insurance is enough for lost in biz if goods can’t be delivered in time.

I guess they will double up the padlocks at all the entrance today, and I better bring back all the important documents and my check book!

I better call hubby and let him know about this. He would be shock to find out that our office is broken into. It’s something least expected, and he is the type of person who’s very optimistic about life and doesn’t believe in anything bad would have happened. *roll eyes* How you know why he can’t care much about the term life insurance quote I’ve passed to him for many months? Don’t even mention about writing wills or funeral plans, he hates that.

My parents were here a week ago, but I didn’t snap a single photo of them with my kids. I was kind of busy, but so glad that they flew here to babysit the kids for me for a week. Besides the normal cooking and cleaning up, my parents took good care of our kids and also cleared out the dead plants in our garden. I’m very lousy in gardening and frankly, I’ve never watered the plants!

On top of that, my mom helped me to clear out the things stocked up in my cupboard and she was shocked to see how many bottles of vitamins and natural health supplements I have in my house. LOL! I didn’t buy any of them, they were all given by my MIL or bought by hubby. My MIL truly believes in health supplements, and she will send some over from time to time, and we can’t even finish them all. Luckily, most of the vitamins have longer shelf life, but for products like salmon fish oil, Oregano Oil or Bio D-Mulsion, I will keep them in the fridge so that they will stay fresh longer.

I placed a box of multivitamin on my table at the office too. But I don’t swallow one everyday. I feel like gagging after taking one, so I’m not so “religious” in taking daily supplement. Anyway, if we eat well, I think it’s alright to skip the health supplement occasionally.

Frankly, I would certainly not doing that again, unless you pay me a lot of money. LOL!

Maybe I’m just not that into fire fighting, but I have high respect to fire fighters, especially after watching a Hong Kong series. They are such dedicated people, willing to sacrifice their lives for saving others.

Due to my language barrier, I hardly talk to most of my neighbors because some of them can’t speak English, and I don’t understand Thai that well. Our next door neighbors are very friendly, and in fact, the old man always come to my garden to take care of the plants (I am lousy with plants ) and mow the lawn. Actually, we only pay him for his mowing service, but he likes to do extra work for us, and for the rest of the neighbors too. In short, he’s a helpful and friendly neighbor!

I didn’t realize how many children he has until my mom was here a month ago. Apparently, my mom talked to him (just imagine one was speaking in Thai and the other one was in English!) and she found out that he has a daughter who’s heavily pregnant. No wonder I saw a pregnant lady some times, but I have never thought that she’s his daughter. Throughout her pregnancy, I have only seen her a few times, and we have never talked. Besides that, she’s not staying with her dad, and I guess she only comes back for visits. If she’s one of my friends, I will surely know more about her due date and all her Pregnancy week by week updates! I just love babies!

This morning, I saw some nappies hanging outside of their house, and it strikes me that she might have given birth and she’s on confinement next door!

So, I better tell my kids not to shout too loud or be too noisy since the baby is staying next door. Even if I love to see newborns with Moro reflex, jerking out with their hands and feet when they are scared, but I don’t want my kids to scare a little baby!
