Before I was married, I considered getting myself an insurance premium meant for women, which not only includes all the ovarian-related cancers, but also Prenatal Care, delivery, and post-natal care too. On top of that, the policy bears about 50% of the expenses spent during hospital delivery, and gives $1000 cash to the first 4 babies delivered by the mother.

I was quite tempted, but I didn’t get it as I had only started working, and the premium was too expensive for me. However, I regretted it! I’m well insured but my existing premiun does not include maternity coverage. Since I delivered my babies at a private hospital, and they really cost a lot! Luckily, I didn’t go for Caesarean, as hubby’s friend’s maternity bill went up to RM10000, as his wife when for emergency C-section after being induced.

If I’m pregnant again, I will really consider getting a Maternity Card that offers maternity coverage insurance savings. I just hope that that will reduce what I need to pay for the delivery and save hubby’s money for my shopping spree. LOL!

Pregnant mommies! Pay attention to this!

When I was pregnant with Justin, I couldn’t wait to put on maternity clothing! Even if my tummy was no showing at 3 months, I was wearing maternity dresses already! So eager!

But the second time around, I wasn’t that keen. I try to dress normally as long as possible and most of the time, I preferred pants and tops.

If I know this hip & cool b-buckles, I wouldn’t be spending a fortune on maternity pants!

This is a great item for moms like me who still want to wear their favorite non-maternity jeans from heavily pregnant until post-partum. Just wrap around your belt loops, snap and go!!!

So, who says preggies cannot be hot? :)

I stumbled upon this site filled with some useful health related information when I was looking for some info about losing weight healthily. As you know, I have been enjoying myself this festive season and indulged in lots of fatting and unhealthy food. I know I have definitely gained some weight! Now, it’s time to get my butt up and shake off the extra wights by using the tips I found from the website. Luckily, the tips given are practical and easy to be implemented in my daily life.
At the same time, I found some Medical Health Information, especially those topics about illness. I admit that sometimes I have been taken my health for granted. I seldom get sick, and thus I assume that I am healthy enough not to read up about sickness and diseases. But I am wrong, no matter how healthy I am, I should be updated about health related information, and make sure that I’m leading a healthy lifestyle and prevent further illness with precaution or early detention.

On top of that, we have to take responsible for ourselves too. Before there’s any uneventful medical condition happened to me, I better get myself insured as well. Who knows if one day I might fall really ill and requires lots of money for treatment? If I’m well insured, at least I have a Health insurance to protect myself against large payments, and I don’t have to be a burden to my family too.

However, I have never known about pregnancy insurance until I found this site. Pregnancy insurance covers many of the costs associated with having a child, from the actual birth itself to pre-birth examinations and care (such as sonograms and ultrasounds). The thing is, it’s not common in Malaysia yet, so I believe lots of mothers are unaware of this too.

Read up this site, you will surely find a few good pieces of invaluable advice, just like me. :)
