I surprised myself by not buying anything when I was shopping at The Gardens. The temptation was there, but I managed to control myself from having a shopping spree. My kids helped to keep me busy too, so I didn’t have a chance to shop.

Anyway, I wanted to help hubby in saving up for the kids’ education fees in Bangkok. We have to control our spending for the first 2 years until his new business is making money. So, I’m broke. Maybe I should have invested in rare coin previously and by now it might be able to make me some money if I can sell it off at higher value huh? LOL!

OnĀ  the other hand, this trip to KL is to spend time with the kids instead of shopping. I can’t call myself Shoppingmum anymore!

Do you like shopping? I don’t think I can live without shopping. I will be very moody if I can see but cannot buy. That’s why I sneak out some time to get myself something new and I feel so happy about the purchase. If possible, I will just use the cash but it’s not so safe to leave the house with your wallet loaded with cash. That’s why credit cards are pretty handy for shopaholic.

I don’t have any Best Cash Back Credit Cards unless I redeem my points for cash rebates. But I wonder if there is a card that gives more cash rebates based on the same redemption points? I have’t applied for any credit cards for many years as I only stick to my old cards. Frankly, I’m so lost about credit cards now.

Maybe it’s my fault too because I don’t like to listen to all those telemarketers trying to coax me into getting another card. I hate to answer their calls!

I think we are all ready for Chinese New Year except preparing the money for red packets. I knit a lot for myself, so basically I only need to buy more pants. But I still bought a few tops from the boutiques because I was tempted!

I have the same temptation of getting some of these tank tops from Artful Wears. I like casual wears these days as I don’t have to go to work. No point dressing like an office lady for my daily routines! Besides that, there are a handful of handbags and jewelry being offered at the web store as well. But since I’ve done my shopping for Chinese New Year, I better kick my temptation away and stop thinking about shopping for a while. Maybe just for 2 days. LOL!

I shopped a lot today. A year ago, I wouldn’t feel anything much if I spent so much money in a day as I was used to spending hubby’s money. But I was being financial independent for a while when I made money from blogging, and I loved the feeling of spending my own money. However, it’s impossible for me to make that much now.

If I’m really serious about being financially independent, I should just try to look for a job from an executive recruiting firm. I might be in luck to get a job that pays well and satisfy my hunger in making money for myself. But then again, I’m too used to being a stay-at-home mother, I am so lazy to get up for work everyday! If you are looking for a job, then A.E. Feldman Associates, Inc might be able to help you out.

As for me, I will still find other work-from-home opportunity. Working from home is still the best job that brings both money and flexibility to me.

I didn’t knit those knit wears shown in the picture. I ordered them from the shop because I know that I couldn’t possible finish them in one week. I thought they might need it in Bangkok so I ordered them urgently, but who knows, it’s not windy when we were there.

Isabelle’s knit wear is quite complicated, but I like it. Take a look at it…

Anyway, she loves it because it’s very colorful. So if you like your kids to have cute knit wears but can’t knit them in time, get them ordered from the shop. Do you know that it can be done? :)

I sleep more about 7 hours these days because I’m staying away from blogging until late at night. I have to get up early for Justin who’s going to school early in the morning.

I wonder if I should get a Chillow Pillow for a good night sleep as I tend to sweat in the middle of the night. The air con is on, but sometimes I will get up feeling hot because I’m sleeping at the corner away from the air conditioning. Maybe I will sleep better if I don’t have get up and flip my pillow huh?

If you are interested to get one, check out the pillow at AllegroMedical.com. By the way, did I tell you it’s only $29.95?

My kids are getting older but we are still staying in the same room. I am not sure if they are ready to sleep in a different room, but if we really move out, I might want them to give it a try. It’s more convenient for all of us too if we have separate rooms. For the time being, hubby and I still change in front of the kids some times but I think we have to do it in discreet as my kids are getting older and it’s time to teach them about privacy. I’m not comfortable with nudity especially when it comes to my kids. Even if I have started teaching them about how babies come from, but I will prefer to cover myself when they are older.

If my kids are still sticking around, I better get check out those Women’s Bathrobes from the department stores or websites like Plush Robes. This website offers a lot of Bathrobes ranging from Chenille Microfiber Robes, Kimono Robes, Asian Silk Robes, Hooded Robes and others. Personally, I prefer those silk robes. I won’t just wear it after a shower but treating it as pajamas as well. I love satin and silk. They are soft and comfortable, so it should be nice to be worn to sleep.

Besides that, the silk robes will be nice to be given out as presents too. I know that Christmas is coming in a few days, but what if you still haven’t got any presents for your loved ones, you can consider getting the robes. A silk robe will definitely be more classy than a bathroom robe, ok? On top of that, you can get the robe personalized with names or monograms of your choice. It’s just going to cost $7.95 per robe for up to 15 letters, so most names are not longer than that! Just choose from the selection of fonts and thread colors of your choice and get the robe personalized. It will be a better gift than the usual ones.

Anyway, if you are operating a hotel, resort, spas, or boutique, it might be a good idea to get the robes in batch. Plush Robes is one of the largest bathrobe importers in the US that buy directly from Turkey. Thus, they can order you a competitive price as comparing to other robe providers. Besides selling in bulk, they take small orders too, and you can be more assured about their quality assurance.

So, should I just order one from them or check it out when I’m shopping in Bangkok?

I’m trying to get some nice presents for my kids this month. Maybe I should check out those educational toys which I found online the other day, and they are from China and Taiwan. The toys look great for my kids and they will enjoy playing and learning at the same time.

I wonder if the site has any reward programs for loyal customers as I might buy more as my children are growing up. Some of the websites have partnership with webloyalty to ensure that their customers are returning to purchase the goods from their sites and be rewarded on the purchases.

I love to get rewards from my shopping spree. It’s always nice to have some freebies.

Don’t tell me it’s too early to shop for Christmas. Actually, I like to look around and find something special for my kids. Thus, I need more time for checking things out and shortlisting those toys which are suitable as their Christmas presents.

If hubby agrees on this, I would love to get Justin a go cart racing car. He told me that he wanted a car before.

As for Isabelle, this Tooting Teddy Train Activity Toy will be great.

But these toys are found online, and they are quite expensive if you convert the price to Malaysian Ringgit. However, I can try to look for the same toy from other merchants who offer a lower price at Quick Shop. The search result will list down the different prices offered by various merchants since it’s a comprehensive shopping comparison website. Of course, Quick Shop is not officially launched yet, but you can take a look at how it works.

Honestly, I think hubby won’t agree on getting that go cart racing car. It’s too expensive!

I found this Rock’n'Rody pretty interesting. My kids will enjoy rocking the horse since both of them like riding on daddy almost everyday. If we have a rocking horse, maybe hubby doesn’t have to be too tired playing with the kids. The “Rock’n'Rody” is an inflatable horse with a bouncy and ergonomic body. It’s not only rocks, it bounces as well. Besides, it grows with the child, for bigger kid, you just have to add more air into it.

This rocking horse is from AllegroMedical.com, which is also a website that sells medical supplies. If you sign up for the freeĀ Allegro eCatalog, you might get some discounts too, but it’s only for a limited time only. Check out those maternity and baby supplies, you might have something nice for your kids.
