I was catching up with my favorite program called Queeny the other day, and it’s about credit card spending of some actresses. Most of them shop a lot, so it’s not surprising that they spend a lot on credit cards. But there was on artist who is in debt right now because she too cash advance from her credit card and used it on slots! She was winning, but then she lost her money. She thought that she could win it back when she’s out of cash, so she took that drastic step of borrowing money for gambling.

I don’t think she’s doing the right thing, and even if I won’t say much if my friends like to try their lucks on online casino or going for a few rounds at Genting, I think as long as you know your limit and not being addicted, it’s alright to spend some money spinning the roulette. But then, if you don’t have the money for it, please don’t step your foot into any casinos.

But if you have the money and if you know your boundary, it’s alright to have some fun. Too bad I am too stingy to spend money on betting. I still prefer shopping over anything. LOL!

Since I’m still using the tourist visa, I will have to renew the visa before it expires. My kids and I might have to go for visa run again, but I know that they don’t want to do so in Combodia border after our previous trip there. The living condition is pretty bad in that area, and my children had some “culture shock” seeing how tough the living condition is. Besides that, it’s so tiring just to do the run in a day, and there is nothing much to see at the border except some casinos. Furthermore, I don’t think they can be considered as some of the Best Casinos in the world. :P

Anyway, if we are really interested in gambling, we can just try our luck at Online Casino. Just check out this online Casino Review if you are looking for the links. Some of my friends are pretty hooked up with online casinos, but I’m not sure if they are still winning a lot of money right now. I prefer to keep my feet on the ground when it comes to making money. I just don’t have the kind of luck and guts needed for gambling.

I guess the best way of renewing our visas will be making a trip back home. Maybe after some time, we can just apply for dependent visa. That will be more convenient for us.

All of us are not feeling well since yesterday. It’s raining season here in Bangkok, and we are having flu bug attacks. Hubby was down with fever yesterday, and I’m just not my own self right now. The kids are having running nose, but they are still fit for schooling.

Frankly, almost everyone at the office is not feeling well now. One of the staffs has some skin rash too, but I don’t think it’s Herpes Zoster Infection. It doesn’t look like what I read from the net. I guess it will take some time before everyone is totally healed as the virus is spreading around from one to another.

Anyway, as long as my kids are still active and playful, I guess they will be fine. As for hubby, he can’t afford to rest yet, not until he has visited a few more customers this week. Poor thing…

Since my friends are not coming to Bangkok this week, we might send in our car for repairing. We haven’t fixed the dented part yet, even if the accident was a month ago! We are glad that our Auto Insurance covers everything, so we don’t have to pay anything to get the car fixed. The workshop said that our car has to be there for about 3 weeks, so it’s going to be very inconvenient to us! I might go back to using cabs to pick up my kids for awhile. Gee…

Since our business has just started, it’s impossible for us to get another car so soon. It might be easy for us to get an Auto Loan, but I don’t want to worry about the monthly installment later. However, if our business is going well, we really need to get a second car here. It will be more convenient for hubby and I who might have to go to work separately occasionally. Did I mention that I prefer to leave work early for shopping? :P

If you are interested to buy a car, check out the various auto insurance options available at The Auto Finder. Even if you have a bad credit status, you can also find some Bad Credit Auto Loans here. So, check it out.

Anyway, I am not sure when will our car be sent in to the workshop. Gosh, I hate taxi!

One of my friends have plans to further study in UK two years from now. She’s a working mother with 2 children, and she still has dreams of pursuing her doctorate degree. I really admire her determination to learn more about her expertise, and she can still take a good care of her family and career.

Some working mothers might prefer to get an online degree so that they don’t have to make a drastic move, but she prefers to do so in UK. Anyway, I wish her all the best if she’s leaving the country. We should arrange for our kids to meet each other again before they migrate! Hopefully, my kids won’t fight with her boy as they did last time. :P

Saturday is a working day for us, but since my kids are coming with us to the office, I can be quite busy today. While I’m typing this, Isabelle is lying on my lap enjoying her bottle of milk and Justin is messing around in our room room. I just can’t wait for them to glue to the DVD later so that I can finish my work faster!

We’ve got a new internet line days ago, and we don’t have to share the other 2 lines with other staffs. Gosh, it’s faster this way! By the way, if you are looking for a high speed internet line, check out the packages offered by Charter. If you subscribe to the line, you will stand a chance of winning a HP Compaq Presario C770US Laptop and get a free Shell gas gift card worth 100 bucks. It sounds like an attraction offer to me! If you are interested about Charter Laptop-a-Day Giveaway, check out the link.

As for me, I better type in lightening speed and finish my job ASAP so that we can leave work early on Saturday. Yippie!

My days of being a full time mother at the office will be over soon. We have shifted to the new office floor this week, and the kids have a room for themselves. My table is only beside that room, so I can check on my kids through the glass. The office maid helps out with the baby so sometimes, she takes care of my kids too.

Justin’s taking a nap while Isabelle’s playing with other children in the kids room

Nonetheless, we have decided to send them to preschool. At least I thought of sending them to the one near our house, but after checking out the other school near our office, we changed our mind. It will be more convenient for us to pick them up at 4.30pm and bring them back to the office if we are busy that day. Besides that, this school is surprisingly cheaper! LOL! The difference in school fees is due to the fact that this preschool is totally Thai. I mean they don’t provide English syllabus, so my kids will be bananas there to learn Thai language from nothing. But from Monday to Thursday, Justin will have extra English class with the angmoh teacher for an hour, if I’m not mistaken. Isabelle is too young for extra classes, so she will just play play play until koh koh finishes his lessons and go back together.

I must say that both Justin and Isabelle adapted well in Bangkok. They were fussy at first, but now they are getting better. Justin has “grown up” a lot since we moved here. It’s like he has some big koh koh responsibilities being placed on him, and he’s trying hard to act like one. He takes good care of Isabelle and he does his work when he has the mood. He understands well that we can’t be with them all the time, but on Sundays, we are giving them full attention. Sometimes I feel bad that he’s been pushed to grow up so fast with all the changes.

On the other hand, Isabelle is just being her good old self. She’s friendly and she has picked up some simple Thai words from the office staffs. She’s less skeptical at learning the language, and she likes to imitate what Justin does. As usual, she is still very teh with me. So just imagine that I have to carry her to walk to the 4th floor to reach our office at least twice a day. So, that’s more than enough exercise for me already!

But one thing for sure, I’m going to miss them when they are not in the office later. Of course, hubby and I can work better and we really have to work on the promotional products for the upcoming fair. So, hopefully our kids will enjoy school.

I have been talking to the kids about our trip to Bangkok and them staying with my parents for weeks. At least, they cried, then Justin slowly adjusted to the fact that we can’t bring them along, so he said he will watch out Isabelle. Of course, I’m not sure if he really meant it, that’s why hubby suggested that we don’t let the kids send us to the airport. But I feel that it’s better if the kids can see us going off and coming back again. We are not sure how frequent will we be traveling in the future, so it’s best to let them understand that mommy and daddy are just away for a while and we will be back. But then again, both of them might cry and make a scene at the airport. Sigh…

But Justin understands that we need to set up a home for them there. We told him that he will have a purple bed, a purple pillow but he has to bring his bolster with him next time. Isabelle wants masak masak toys awaiting for her there, and that can be easily done. We have come out a list of things that we need to buy for the house, and it’s one long list! Most importantly, we better get a water filter and one of those tankless water heaters. I’m quite particular with water quality and I can’t bath with cold water!

Luckily the owner left us the sofa and some furniture. I don’t mind using them as the tenant agreement is only valid for one year. No point spending too much on furniture now. But hubby said no matter what, he’s going to get a new bed for us. Cannot sleep in other people’s bed woh… :P

After 3 weeks of running here and there in Bangkok, Penang and KL, we are finally back at home! My maid has gone back to Indonesia this morning, so for the coming weeks, I will be a silai. :P

Nonetheless, I managed to get all the photos taken this week uploaded to my Flickr account and I can update some posts about my kids. We had a good time in KL, doing nothing much but just spending quality time. We have to make it up to them for the days we were not around mah…

Anyway, stay tune for more updates ya?

Gosh, I really think that Isabelle is growing too fast now. I stopped measuring her height and weight but she is definitely getting a lot heavier this month. I will have backache if I carry her for too long, but being my manja little girl, she is still clingy to me at certain time of the day. Other than that, she’s very independent and enjoys the company of Justin or her cousins.

She likes to sing and dance, and some times, I think she looks like me when I was younger. I used to sing and force my brother to dance with me when I was a little girl, and maybe one day she will ask koh koh to take part in her dance as well. LOL! She likes to wear pretty maxi dresses and twirl and spin by holding the sides of the dress. I haven’t caught this action on tape yet, but one day I will ask hubby to tape it. She looks so cute in her dance.

As for speech development, she begins to say some phrases by combining 2 or 3 words. It’s hard to compile a list of words she knows now as she will just copy what we say sometimes. But there are times when she fails to convey her feelings or needs too, and she will be very frustrated about it. I guess most toddlers will go through terrible two, but just different in degree. It will be over one day, once she’s good at talking, it’s easier for me to understand what she’s trying to say.

Just one more thing, she likes to tie her hair, but the front part of her head doesn’t have much hair. I wonder when will she have fringe just like me? :)
