I “Mi” Many Shoes mah…

 My gal, is just like the mother, is fond of buying shoes. She keeps a few pairs of shoes in the car so that she can change the shoes based on her mood. She has her normal school shoes, and another pair of slippers which she wears after school to our office, and some other pairs for outings. She puts most of her shoes in the car so that she won’t miss them! If we ask her why she keeps changing shoes, she will tell us, “I ‘mi’ (have) many shoes mah”. LOL!

I guess daddy has to find a way to make more money as our gal is going to be a shoe fetish and shopaholic just like mommy, when she goes up. Maybe he can consider gold investing huh? The return should be better than any other form of investment.

No Red Nor Yellow

There are a few demonstrations in some places in Bangkok and Pattaya these days, and I wonder if they will stop during a day or two. It’s Songkran festival, and most of us are going on holiday, so it’s not convenient if they block some major roads. Furthermore, we are leaving for Pattaya tomorrow, and I that the crowd will disperse soon.

We canceled our plan to go to the national park as it rains a lot lately, but just make a trip to Nakhon Nayok on Tuesday. It would not be nice staying in the “jungle” in the rain as we can’t do much jungle trek or animal watching at night anyway. That’s why hubby booked a room at my kids’ favorite resort near Pattaya, which is the one with a horse stable. They are very excited to see “their ponies” again!

If you are traveling to Thailand lately, please do not wear anything in red or yellow, unless you are going to show your support for a particular party. You will be asking for trouble, if you are so unfortunate to bump into the wrong supporters. I’m not sure if Massachusetts OUI Lawyer will help you win the case, if you are injured or harmed. So, it’s best to be safe than sorry.

So, I’m going to pack carefully for our trips. Just remember, no red nor yellow!

Nice Artwork

 I’m really pleased with the kids’ progress at art class. I’m quite surprised to see Isabelle being able to do her work for 2 hours, and she’s not even old enough for the class yet. We let her try the class first and the teacher said she’s alright to join. We are really happy to see both of them enjoy the class very much, and their art works are very nice too. I mean for their age la, and don’t compare with those masterpieces that worth a gold bullion!

I keep all their work in the carton box now, and maybe I should get a big folder to keep them. I shall keep them for as long as we can.

Got the Photos!

I’ve forgotten to mention this…

My dad called me the other day that he had received the photos from EOE online and he was happy to see the photos of his grandchildren. I know that my parents miss the kids and they can only see them like once or twice a year, so I hope that they can have some photos of them as collection. You know? Grandparents like to show their grandchildren’s photos around. So, I guess those 50 pieces of 4R photos will make a nice album for showing off. LOL!

I printed 2 pieces of 8R photos too, and I asked my mom to frame them up. They will look nice in her living room as I’ve picked 2 very nice photos of Justin and Isabelle smiling happily.

Know Your Limit

 I was catching up with my favorite program called Queeny the other day, and it’s about credit card spending of some actresses. Most of them shop a lot, so it’s not surprising that they spend a lot on credit cards. But there was on artist who is in debt right now because she too cash advance from her credit card and used it on slots! She was winning, but then she lost her money. She thought that she could win it back when she’s out of cash, so she took that drastic step of borrowing money for gambling.

I don’t think she’s doing the right thing, and even if I won’t say much if my friends like to try their lucks on online casino or going for a few rounds at Genting, I think as long as you know your limit and not being addicted, it’s alright to spend some money spinning the roulette. But then, if you don’t have the money for it, please don’t step your foot into any casinos.

But if you have the money and if you know your boundary, it’s alright to have some fun. Too bad I am too stingy to spend money on betting. I still prefer shopping over anything. LOL!

Visa Run Again?

 Since I’m still using the tourist visa, I will have to renew the visa before it expires. My kids and I might have to go for visa run again, but I know that they don’t want to do so in Combodia border after our previous trip there. The living condition is pretty bad in that area, and my children had some “culture shock” seeing how tough the living condition is. Besides that, it’s so tiring just to do the run in a day, and there is nothing much to see at the border except some casinos. Furthermore, I don’t think they can be considered as some of the Best Casinos in the world.

We Need Rest

All of us are not feeling well since yesterday. It’s raining season here in Bangkok, and we are having flu bug attacks. Hubby was down with fever yesterday, and I’m just not my own self right now. The kids are having running nose, but they are still fit for schooling.

Frankly, almost everyone at the office is not feeling well now. One of the staffs has some skin rash too, but I don’t think it’s Herpes Zoster Infection. It doesn’t look like what I read from the net. I guess it will take some time before everyone is totally healed as the virus is spreading around from one to another.

Anyway, as long as my kids are still active and playful, I guess they will be fine. As for hubby, he can’t afford to rest yet, not until he has visited a few more customers this week. Poor thing…

Repairing Soon

 Since my friends are not coming to Bangkok this week, we might send in our car for repairing. We haven’t fixed the dented part yet, even if the accident was a month ago! We are glad that our Auto Insurance covers everything, so we don’t have to pay anything to get the car fixed. The workshop said that our car has to be there for about 3 weeks, so it’s going to be very inconvenient to us! I might go back to using cabs to pick up my kids for awhile. Gee…

Since our business has just started, it’s impossible for us to get another car so soon. It might be easy for us to get an Auto Loan, but I don’t want to worry about the monthly installment later. However, if our business is going well, we really need to get a second car here. It will be more convenient for hubby and I who might have to go to work separately occasionally. Did I mention that I prefer to leave work early for shopping?

Further Study

 One of my friends have plans to further study in UK two years from now. She’s a working mother with 2 children, and she still has dreams of pursuing her doctorate degree. I really admire her determination to learn more about her expertise, and she can still take a good care of her family and career.

Some working mothers might prefer to get an online degree so that they don’t have to make a drastic move, but she prefers to do so in UK. Anyway, I wish her all the best if she’s leaving the country. We should arrange for our kids to meet each other again before they migrate! Hopefully, my kids won’t fight with her boy as they did last time.

Working on Saturday

Saturday is a working day for us, but since my kids are coming with us to the office, I can be quite busy today. While I’m typing this, Isabelle is lying on my lap enjoying her bottle of milk and Justin is messing around in our room room. I just can’t wait for them to glue to the DVD later so that I can finish my work faster!
