Beauty Products from Australia

I was surfing around and found some sites selling organic beauty products which meant for home business. I was kind of interested, but I think I’ll look into them first, as the products are based in Australia, so I’m not sure how good they are. Besides, I need to pay a huge amount of member fees! So, I will find out more via web conferencing to ask more information on the products and how their selling system works…

But most probably, I won’t sign up as the fees is out of my budget!

Modern Grandfather Clock

This blog is all about beauty, not only physically, but also thing around me. :)

If I have my own house, I’ll get a grandfather clock and place it in the study room. Some thing like this will be nice…

This one doesn’t look too antique, and will fit into my contemporary interior designing of my dream house. But first, I need to get a HOUSE first. MIL definitely won’t approve into getting some thing like this, even if I’m paying for it!

For My Nails…

I got myself a little Me time today, but going for pedicure and medicure. I’ve signed a package for a while, and finally, I had the time to do it today!

When I arrived there, he manicurist was still busy with a customer, so I snapped a few photos at the salon.

The nail colours…

The pair of legs I wish to have but can’t forever…

Then I was this stickers…

I haven’t tried stickers before as all the while, I went for work art only. So, I was keen for a try…

After the medicure session, my fingernails are so much nicer! I don’t colour them, unless I will be attending some function. It’s inconvenient to keep them anyway, by taking care of my kids, so what’s the point of colouring them?

Then, I proceed to pedicure…..And the end result was rather disappointing!

*Sigh* The stickers looked ugly!!! I told the manicurist I hate it on the spot, so she suggested that I return a week later and do some work art on them. I should have chosen one of these designs…

By the way, if you are going for pedicure, please wear slippers. You don’t have to mess up the polisher huh?

Look Good in Jeans

Most of my jeans are low waist with boot cut now.

I threw away most of my old jeans as they make my butt looks bigger. By wearing low waist and boot cut, my butt looks smaller, and my legs looks better, especially my thighs. And I love the curves too!

But what I really want to buy more is skinny jeans. I have one only for the time being, and it looks nice on me only with I pair it up with long tops.

But I haven’t try it on with tight tops as I think I look fat with this look, especially my thighs and butt. At the same time, I don’t like flats, even if I bought a few and just put them in the store room! I still prefer high heels or plumps. Boots are out of me as I look like I’m going for a party! LOL! BTW, it’s not so commonly wore in Malaysia too…

It’s the sales period now, I think I’ll go try a few pairs of skinny jeans and see how…Always try out the jeans, kneel down to see if the cut is too low (I don’t like flashing half of my panties or butt in public, ok?) and see if it’s comfortable or you look good in it or not.

BTW, the 2 jeans above are from Levi’s, so ladies, go get them!

Template Found

I’ve decided on a template, and I like this a lot. It’s really “Me”, pink, but not too much until I have a headache from it!

Now, I’m still working on the things like blogroll, and stuffs to add onto the sidebars. Give me some time on this, as I’m asking help from a sifu too. :)

Searching for Template

I’m still looking for template for this blog, so I won’t be updating it often until I’m satisfied with the template I found.

Wish me luck!

For My Face

Besides using Casmara’s products, I bought Origins’ Plantidote™ Mega-Mushroom Face Serum which I use during the day. I didn’t get the face cream, and a bit regret now as I can’t buy Origin’s products here, so I need to get them in Penang or KL. But I got the eye serum as well, and I love it.

The only thing about Dr Andrew Weil’s products is that my hubby complained is the smell. Hubby said it smells weird on my face, but I’m ok with it. It’s the mushroom smell, which I personally think it’s quite pleasant after I got used to it.

Hair Loss

After delivering my babies, I suffered from a short term of hair loss, just like most post-natal mothers. It started 3 months after my delivery for both babies, and stopped a couple of months later. I’m born with fine straight hair, so post-natal hair loss affected my look a lot. I didn’t go to any hair loss treatment, instead, just after confinement and before the hair loss started, I permed it to add volume to my hair. But that might not be a wiser move!

In my case, my hair loss is temporary. However, in most cases, the causes of hair loss should be identified and proper treatment should be given. To some people, it’s hereditary, and women with this trait only develop thinning hair but not going bald completely like men. This condition is called androgenetic alopecia, and there is no cure for it, but you may try some herbal treatment.

Besides that, if you don’t practice proper hair care, which includes dyes, tints, bleaches, straighteners, and permanent waves, and you don’t do proper hair and scalp treatment, your hair can be badly damaged and break easily.

As for my mom who was a cancer patient, she lost all her hair after she went for chemotherapy. She was wearing a wig for almost a year, while waiting for her hair to grow back. I used to joke to her that she looks hotter and younger in the wig that I chose. :) But I know that she prefers not to loss any of her hair, or get some treatment to boast up her hair production. At that time, I didn’t know much about hair loss treatment.

If I know about Samson’s Secret herbal hair loss product which is produced without the use of genetic engineering, I might ask my mom to try out, instead of waiting for so long to have a bob cut hair length! I prefer her to use everything organic as she’s a patient who needs extra care in all her food and daily products. I don’t wish to have anything harsh that might deteriorate her health condition further. Thus, it’s also safe for women with alpoecia as well.

Samson’s Secret hair loss remedy uses only the nature’s finest herbal ingredients. As a part of your daily nutritional routine, Burdock, Cayenne, and Nettle work together to remove poisons from the bloodstream, making your body more favorable to absorb nutritional herbs like Rosemary, Sage, Oat Straw, Sarsaparilla, Spirulina, and Kelp which promote healthy hair growth, nourish the hair follicles, and support the nervous system to reduce stress.

Over the time, you will see that your hair follicles begin to grow natural hair strands and eliminate your hair loss problem. Most importantly, it’s all about organic herbs, so we don’t have to worry about any harmful side effect.

Naked Look

Actually, I have always like the naked or nude look, like I’m not wearing any makeup on my face. But it’s really hard to be done perfectly as to have a natural nude look which looks like there is no make up on, the more make up I’m using the make it look natural! That’s why I only buy good cosmetics and skincare product as I’m afraid of the side-effect of harmful chemicals left on my face and makes my complexion worse. If you have sensitive skin and having problem using over the counter cosmetic, how about giving Naked Minerals a try?

Naked Minerals™ Pressed Mineral Makeup only made up from pure earth minerals and essential oils, without any talc, wax , fillers, or any FD&C colorings. Thus, it won’t cause skin irritation after prolong usage, and it is suitable for both normal and sensitive skin.

If you like to have a perfect nude makeup, make sure that your complexion is suppled with a good moisturizer, then put on colour corrector or make up base to even out the skin tone. After that, you need to have a good foundation. Try mixing 2 warm and cool shades of foundation from mineral makeup. You will probably get a shade which is the closest to your neckline.

Oh ya, please don’t try any foundation on your hand, try it out on your jawline, and see if it matches your neck!

When I was 18….

Samm tagged me this. Want’s to know what music i listen to the year i turned 18 woh..It’s supposed to work like this:

1) Hop over to PopCulture site

2) Pick the year you turned 18

3) Get yourself nostalgic over the songs

4) Mesmerize over those songs, write something about it.

5) Pass it on to five more friends.

6) Wait, there’s a catch to it. Do not delete the links of the five person you tagged. Let the list grow bigger and bigger. Meaning, 5+5+5 until someone killed it.

So, when I was in my sweet 18, and I went to uni, started staying out with friends, didn’t study much but hanging around enjoying my total freedom! :P Don’t worry, I didn’t turn anything bad. LOL!

Oh, I still remember this song, Take a Bow by Madonna. I watched the movie Evita with my ex for 3 hours in the cinema, nothing special huh? I haven’t finished…..There’s not more than 10 people in the cinema and half way through the movie, the air-con cut off!!! Yes, no air-conditioning for more than 1 hour (it’s a 3 hours show, if I’m not mistaken), but I refused to get out. I insisted on watching the whole movie because I liked it, but my ex was falling asleep….That’s why he’s an ex, LOL! We don’t like the same movies.

Ok, enough “history” of my sweet 18. Now, here’s my tagging list:
