Blog of the Day

I logged on to Payperpost after coming back from dim sum. I saw an opp about beach cruisers and posted about it. Little that I know, I was the first postie to post for the day, and I was featured on Blog of The Day.

The first thing on my mind was, “Gosh, why me?” LOL! I like to be low profile, not to be in the lime light, especially when it comes to this blog. But what to do? Wait until the next day lah! Someone else will be featured.

In the mean time, I wanted to pamper myself a bit, but I left my collagen mask and SK II eye mask in Ipoh. Gee….

So, let me settle with a cheap but effective whitening mask first….

I have tonnes of masks at home, dunno why I just love buying them. Neutrogena is cheap, if I buy a dozen and use everyday also I won’t feel sakit hati. Anymore good brands to recommend? Let’s see if I go shopping later, I want to try Sekkisei.

They have already been launched in Taiwan. But I’m not sure if the mask is out in the market here in Malaysia??? So, I will find out later.

P/S: Added, no, not in Malaysia yet. Too bad!

Everything for Your Wedding

I was engaged for 3 years before our wedding was held. Being so kiasu about the wedding, I wanted everything to be as perfect as possible. Not to mention, we spent a huge sum of hubby’s money on the wedding. :p

But just like most girls, I wanted to be the prettiest bride on my wedding day. A year before the wedding date, we got the ballroom reserved as there are not a lot of hotels in Ipoh. Everyone will be grabbing them like crazy if they want the reception to be held in hotels. Then we went to get our wedding photos taken first. Most of the photos looked very good, and we ended up printing 3 big albums, a 6 ft poster, and a few other photos with frames. See, we were crazy right?

But the only thing that puzzled me now is why I didn’t get myself a tiara? I had most of the accessories custom made by a friend with crystals, but I didn’t ask her to make me a tiara. Looking at the tiaras from Custom Crystal Attire at AdvantageBridal.com, I’m a bit regretted. Not that I hope to get married again!!! :P But I think a tiara is a must to all brides, and it will really complete the perfect look.

On top of that, you can find almost everything you need for your wedding from AdvantageBridal.com. If you need a wedding planner, you can get one here too. A wedding planner will really make a great help and save yourself from the headache of planning a wedding. I have been through that, and we even quarreled about the guest list at the tables! So, if you can afford a wedding planner, get one.

I didn’t have flower girls as I asked a favour from the ballerinas from my ballet school last time and they wore their ballet dresses only. But if you are looking for cute dresses for your flower girls, get them here! I love them! Hopefully, my girl will be asked to be a flower girl next time, and I won’t be hesitate to get her one! She will definitely look cute and pretty in it.

So, just like the Chinese “yam sheng” (toasting speech), we will blessed the newly wed to invite us for their first baby’s full moon ceremony a year after. And don’t you forget to get the baby shower gifts, the maternity products and baby stuffs from this site too. Just look at the cute booties, don’t you think they are cute? :)

Cycling Anyone?

I can’t remember the last time I cycled. We have a mountain bike at home, but on one knows where is the key of the chain been placed. I think it has been abandoned for more than 3 years!

But cycling is a great exercise. Not only that your body will thank you for a burn out, you can also enjoy the beautiful scenery, if you are cycling in the park or by the beach. Before we got married, hubby and I went to Desaru and we rented 2 bikes and went cycling there. It’s a memorable experience, and until now, I can still feel the smell of sea water and the warm afternoon breeze.

One day, we should get some beach cruiser bikes for the kids and us, and we can go cycling by the beach again. We can order the woman cruise online for me and they will be sent via FedEx. If you are wondering how the bikes are going to be sent since they are so big, this blue bike shown above is sold in box. The bike comes about 80% assembled and it takes about 15 minutes to get it fixed up. But since my hubby is not the handy man type, we better send the bike to any bicycle shop before he destroy the whole thing!

But then this will not come true so soon as my kids are still on tricycles. LOL!
