I am a shopaholic. I can shop everyday if I have the money and if I find something nice. Most of the boutique owners know me very well because I am their regular customer. Sometimes, I think I should be running my own boutique so that I will have endless supply of clothes and accessories all for myself without the need of getting them from others. If I can sell them off, I will earn from it. If I can’t make a profit, then I will still have tonnes of clothes all to myself, if I fit the sizes! LOL!
My friends and I thought of running a boutique previously. We have thought of where to get the stocks, how to run it, and also how to stand out from the many boutiques in Ipoh. But we didn’t touch on getting a point of sales system because I was not aware of it until I found Vision POS official website. Vision POS sells lots of POS equipments from IBM, Fujitsu, NCR and Symbol, but they also buy used pos equipment from business owners who are interested in trading in their refurbished point of sale products. By doing so, the business owners will save up a lot in upgrading their systems.
So, if we really decided on running one, a POS system is a must. Don’t tell me I need to keep track of my daily sales manually everyday, when I know I can easily do this with a bar code system. If my partners can’t agree on getting a POS, then I better don’t join in the business. I just hate to get myself ended up with a lot of hard work.
