Eco Handbags

I’ve just gone shopping at a boutique, and the promoter was asking me to get a new handbag. It is a black leather handbag, but I didn’t get it because it didn’t look attractive to me.

I found that these eco handbags are more chic and fashionable than the one she was promoting. I don’t have any eco bags, and frankly, I don’t think they can be easily bought here. If you are looking for eco handbags, you can get some nice designs from Eco-Handbag.ca, which is also one of the members of the 1%FTP. All the handbags, totes, purses, wine bags, gym bags and others are made from recycled and eco-friendly materials.

Just take a look at this bag made from recycled truck inner tubes. If no one tells me that it is an eco bag, I wouldn’t have guessed it either. It looks just like any other ordinary bag that we see at shopping mall, doesn’t it?

At one glance, I thought it was made of PVC or leather. But the truth is, this evening handbag is made from recycled inner-tubes of truck and tractor!

However, if I would to buy one, I will get this handbag which is made from candy wrappers. I like its vibrant colors and it is really suitable for the spring and summer seasons. This handmade bag is inspired by Colombian artist Fernando Botero. It is made from different sizes of weaves, or folds, and constructed into a bubbly shape.

I have all the right clothes to match up with this handbag. But too bad, free shipping is only available to US and Canadian customers, but not for international customers like me.

On the other hand, check out this handbag which is made from recycled art banners. We had a lot of banners in the office, but I have never thought of using them to make a handbag!

This bag will be great as my knitting bag because it has a big opening and lots of storage. Besides that, it has one large inner compartment for maximum capacity. Thus, if you are looking for a diaper bag, this one will fit well too for a small amount of baby stuffs on short trips.

So, does this post change your mind about eco handbags? It has certainly changed mine.

Do You Have Shopping List?

I will go shopping this Thursday. A major shopping for skincare products because they are more expensive, and the more I get, the more points I will be collected on Jusco Day. The points collected can be redeemed as cash vouchers, so I always shop on Jusco Days, except 2 years when I was confined with my newborn babies.

I have a list of things in mind that I would like to get, but I haven’t written them out. I don’t normally write out a list because I love the shop in a relaxing mode where I can enjoy what I see, try them out, and take my sweet time to consider the purchase.

But on Jusco Day, there is no THINKING!!! Everyone will be grabbing the stuffs like crazy and all the counters and cashiers are packed with long queue, even if they have already set up more counters.

I hate the crowds, but the main reason I shop on the day it’s because I want to collect the cash vouchers. I can collect a few hundreds of Jusco vouchers in a year. LOL! Chisin right? See how much I can shop?

So, what’s on my list….

1. Shiseido sunblock (I’m going to Bali!!!)

2. Lingerie (if I can get the fitting room)

3. Kids clothes

4. SHOES!

5. Men’s clothes, socks, truck accessories for hubby and his Ranger

6. Some masks, I got to Google for the latest products tonight

Gee, I’m so tensed for the sales. LOL! I hope the crowd won’t make me faint…

Shopping Online lah!

My friends went to KL today. At first, they wanted to shop till they dropped by seems like there wasn’t a sale in KL. So, they didn’t buy much.

Luckily I didn’t follow. I can just use Online Discount Mart and shop online for the things I want, and away from traffic and crowd too. Online shopping is really great, you know?

BTW, it’s summer now, so the clothes you buy from oversea will fit our weather well. So, I got to get some for myself too!

Golf Dresses

I stopped golf for years, and I don’t think I can remember how to swing the club now! Thus, I better stop playing as it’s really no point losing the golf balls at the bushes or in the water. Unless I start going to golf range and practice my swing for months, now I better stop thinking about golf! LOL!

But I love those lovely golf dresses from Drive By Golfsmith. Just look at this number, it doesn’t look like those boring golf dresses I’ve been at golf course at all.

Even if I can’t play good golf, I can still parade in a nice dress at the course huh? LOL! What a bimbo!
