Camping

I went camping a lot when I was in high school. I camped at least twice a year, and I loved camping because I could be with my friends for days and nights, and it made me feel “grown up”. :)

Most of the camps I went were training camps, which were something like a military camp. LOL! We had tight schedule to be followed, and we had a few courses like first aids, marching, arts and dances, general knowledge and etc. I loved them the most when we had cooking competition, it’s fun to me because I didn’t have a chance to do so at home.

So, if you are wondering about how camping will be, you can also check out Camping 101, an introduction to camping from Camp Earth. This site provides a comprehensive information about different types of camping, camp sites, and also tips on having a memorable camping experience. I will definitely bring my kids for a camp when they are ready for one, so I will bookmark this site to provide me more insights on how to have  a great camp with young children.

There is a forum that I can join in and provide my own experience also. I think it’s a great site for any camping fan like me.
