I went for hot stone spa again reluctantly. I told the spa center that it was very painful the first time, and the bruises took a week to heel. I had to choose my tops wisely not to expose my purplish back. But no point wasting the package, so I die die also gave it another try.
This time, the spa began with far infra red chamber where I was there for 20 minutes of sauna. It’s not the same as normal sauna as this sauna from Lucy Belle promotes some health properties too.

It’s nice to be sitting in there, reading a magazine and listening to nice music. But the heat really made me sweat, oh boy, hopefully I lost an inch after that session.
Then, I proceeded to ozone water spa for detoxification, but I felt that it’s really one good spa for dead skin cell removal. The masseur told me that most of the dead skin cell will be removed too, and I saw that dirty residue by the side of the tub once I was done. Ewww!

After that, it’s the session that I was afraid the most. I told her to be gentle as I have very low pain threshold. Here are the tools that will be used through out the body massage and the head spa sessions. I had blogged about the massage session in previous post, so this time I will only feature the tools.
- For body

The essential oils

The body scraper

Hot Stone Massager
- For Head Spa

Hair brush for patting on the scalp

A comb for head spa
After the massage, I had the bruises again. But this time, it was not as bad as the first spa. However, it has been more than 5 days, but it is still there. So, I still need to wait for a week before it clears out completely.
