Most guys love cars. I used to have a friend who loves to reconstruct his car whenever he feels like it. He has a rich father who works as a banker, so money is not an issue to him. He loves to get old junkies and turn them into a nice car. Once, he spent RM12k in an afternoon just to change all the engines, and days after that, he brought a full set of sound systems and car subwoofers for that old junk. Frankly, that piece of old junk is not a junk anymore one month later.
He doesn’t have any intention to sell the cars, so it’s just an hobby for him. If you think this is crazy, what about buying an old Mercedes from UK? Yes, he did that. I have no idea what is so special about that Mercedes because it’s just an old car. But he spent RM150k, in cash to get that car imported back to his house. Crazy or not? No, I didn’t make up this story, ok? My ex-colleagues who read this will know who he is.
That’s why, when men think women are spending a lot of money on shopping, spa, hair, clothes, shoes and etc, but what about men who spend so much on cars? But if the men can afford it, than it’s ok to me.
So, all those subwoofers make a lot of difference is it? Maybe I should change mine too. LOL!
