Doctor’s Advice

I went to see my skin doctor today. I just wanted to make sure that my dry lips and skin are nothing serious. He suspected that I might be allergy to my toothpaste which contains mint. So he gave me a cleanser and gel for my lips. Let’s see if they work.
I went for my hair treatment today, and the hairdresser said my skin is dry. It could be due to the “north west wind” which comes by the end of the year and it’s pretty dying. Come to think of it, I always have chapping lips and drying skin during the end of the year until the beginning of the new year. So, she might be right.
My lips healed for a few days, but it chapped again 2 days ago. Besides that, I can feel that my skin is very dry especially my eye area. No wonder there are some fine lines now. So, I am changing my beauty routine by adding in Kose Astalution and and the Rice Power Extract Moisture Skin Repair which I thought of saving up until I am done with Shiseido’s Wrinklelift Retino Science Lotion AA. But I am going to join all of them now. Besides that, my skin might have got immune with Casmara, so I am using the samples from SKII Advance Signs Treatment.

I still can’t made up my mind on which blush to get. I have shortlisted 3 blushers from different brands and here they are:
I seldom put on foundation and I prefer to have a natural look. That’s why I’m thinking of getting a mousse blusher which can be easily blended onto my cheeks. I’m not sure about the texture yet, so I will have to test it out first.
It has sculpting 3-D Powder that adds depth to facial contour. I’m just wondering if it will work for me.
So, which one should I get? Or maybe I should try all the blush from one counter to another first huh?
Since I won’t be having any vacation soon, I may as well pay some attention on whitening and brightening my face. One Taiwanese actress named Da S, the one who starred in Meteor Rain, remember? She said that she wanted to be as fair as the fluorescent lighting. Wow! As fair as light! I’m going to get her books when I have time to go to the book stores later. I’m interested to know how she does it.
But before I can know more about it, I’m putting on my Shiseido White Lucent mask now and hope that I will look better tomorrow. Better still, I should head for my bed as soon as possible!
As I’m taking my second cup of coffee now, I couldn’t help thinking what would happen if I can’t take coffee for a day? I only managed to stop this habit during pregnancy and breastfeeding exclusively, but now I’m depending on it like crazy. But coffee is not necessary all bad to us as you can use the coffee grounds from the espresso machines as body scrub.
Coffee scrub is great to micro circulation and reduce the appearance of cellulite. If you don’t mind cleaning up the messy toilet later, you can give it a try. I think I will just get those body scrub with caffeine in it. The effect is about the same.
Drinking too much coffee and tea is bad for your teeth. I hate the stain on my teeth too, that’s why I have plans on seeing a dentist and get some teeth whitening treatment. I did once in Penang, and let’s see if I can make an appointment when I’m back to Penang.
Previously, I tried a DIY teething whitening product, but I can’t remember the name of the product anymore. I got it from Watsun, if I’m not mistaken. You have to use it for about 21 days to see the results. But this teeth whitening strips from Perioe claimed that you will see the difference in 7 days, and that’s pretty remarkable.
If you can read Korean, go to their official website. I don’t have a clue what it’s about. LOL! But I can read some Chinese, so it seems to get some good reviews.
Too bad this product from LG, Korea is not available here. Has anyone seen it? So I better make an appointment with my dentist, or stop drinking coffee which looking at this website about succession planning. However, I can’t live without coffee, so I better give the dentist a call soon.
I had just complained to my blog buddy that I won’t be going away by the end of the year. Hubby is very busy with his work, and it’s impossible for him to take a few days off. I was very disappointed at first, but now I’m feeling much better about it.
There is always another chance of traveling to other nice places, just like flying to Mexico. I’m the type of traveler who prefers to spend the holiday by the beach, so I would like to visit Mayan Riviera if I’m going there. There are a lot of Mexico Vacation Villas available in that area and it’s only 15 miles away from Cancun Airport.
Hubby will like the place too since there are a few nice golf courses which he can try out. As for me, I will be enjoying a nice massage by the beach or at my villa. That is truly relaxing and enjoyable!
Of course, the kids will have a good time visiting the Eco Park as well as Chichen Itza, which was the most important ancient city of the Mayan Culture. So, which villa should we choose? I would like to have the one with the best chef because I love food but I don’t cook.

I don’t take off my rings most of the time unless I’m going for spa or medicure. I have the tendency of losing my jewelry if I keep taking them off. That’s why I hardly put them on as since I’m going for facial, spa or my nails at least once a month for each.
But there was once when I was too sleepy when I wash my face and I accidentally scratch my cheek with my ring. The stone was facing downward and I didn’t realized that. It was a painful cut and I was screaming in the toilet. LOL! So, if possible, take off your rings when you wash your face. Furthermore, some facial foam might interact with the metal and it’s not good for your face either.
However, just be careful and remember where you place your rings. I’m too forgetful to do this step.
I don’t have any hair problem before giving birth to my kids. After my first labor, not only that I was suffering from hair loss, I had a problem with dandruff too. The flakes were visible at the top of my scalp and I had to be very careful at selecting the right shampoo. Frankly, I tried a few products but my dandruff condition only improved when I did some treatment at the salon. It’s quite expensive though, so I won’t recommend it at all.
I didn’t know that dandruff is caused by a fungus called malasezzia furur. This fungus is found on our scalp and they feed off the scalp oils and cholesterol. If you have been using anti-dandruff shampoos but the condition has not improved, this is because most of the dandruff shampoos fail to address that the oils beneath the scalp must be controlled so that the fungus don’t have a promoting ground to grow excessively.
Thus, if you are willing to try another dandruff shampoo, you can take a look at Purify Shampoo which is effective at controlling the itch, white flakes and treating the fungus.
