I only knew about Helena Rubinstein days ago when I was watching Queeny on TV. It’s one of the famous makeup line with Demi Moore as their spokeswoman.
I would love to try their mascara named Lash Queen because it has the leopard skin casing, which is so unique and the demonstration showed how great the effect is by just using the combination of voluminous and lengthening mascaras. It looks like putting on fake mascara if you know how to use them correctly.
But the bad news is, we can’t get the product here. Maybe I should ask my blog buddy to get them back from me from US huh?
I will be away for three days in Langkawi, doing nothing much but sunbathing and enjoying the spa. I have been longing for a beach holiday since my trip to Bali in August, and now my wish is granted!
I have always loved to have more vacation, and that’s the reason why I started a travel blog. But if I can have a Globetrotter’s LogBook®, I will be able to jot down my journal wherever I am without relying on the internet.
So, I will place this booklet as one of the item in my Christmas list. But is Santa going to give me one?
I knit a lot lately and my fingers are getting rougher and dryer due to the frequent friction between the yarns and needles and my skin. I used to put on my hand cream but some times, it’s not absorbing fast enough and I hate the slippery feeling I have on my hands which makes knitting harder than fun.
I received this free sample of Gloves In A Bottle a month ago and I started using it for the last 2 weeks. It’s just a lotion, but it’s non greasy at all. I use it for my hands and feet before I go to bed. During my pedicure and medicure session last week, my pedicurist said that my skin is softer and smoother now. I used to have very bad crack heels, but it’s improving.

After some serious thoughts, I think I will get another set of skincare from Casmara this week even if I haven’t finish those products on my dressing table. I really miss the effect of botox on the products from Casmara which lifts up my skin as soon as I apply it. On top of that, I will be traveling for the next 2 weeks so I want to have minimum skincare products with me. I know need the cleanser and the enzyme from Casmara and nothing else. For my eyes, I will stick to La Mer.
It will be very convenient for me to pack with as less bottles as possible for the trips so that we can stuff everything in a luggage for Bangkok. Of course, I might need to get another bag for my laptop, the HDMI cables and all those charges for the phones and cameras! I won’t leave the country without my skincare products, my laptop, phone and camera. 
Have you ever noticed that those ladies in beauty pageants like to tell the world that they wish on world peace or saving the children of the world? Maybe some of them really have that passion, but I wonder how true and sincere that answer is since so many of the contestants have the same answer.
But if you are really into helping kids and teens, you can think about car donation. Just donate your car to Car Angel and the money raised will be used to make videos for kids and teens, and they will be happy watching clips like this.
However, most of them who won the pageants are great at fulfilling their charity duties. Most importantly, as long as those less fortunate are benefited, who cares about the sincerity of the contestants?
I hardly put on makeup, that’s why I try my best not to buy a lot of cosmetics. However, there are some makeups which are hard to resist. These makeups are more like costume jewelry and you can hardly tell their main purpose until you open the casing. 3 of my favorite party accessory makeup palettes are:

I love makeup with nice packaging. It’s not much about the colors or the texture but the casing and how the make is presented. This makeup palette by Benefit may not even have the colors that I like, but I love the design of the palette. It looks more like a diary to me and it’s in darker pink! Besides, the silver buckle looks so pretty!
Now, I really regret that I didn’t check it out when I was in KL yesterday. I was rushing to get the toys and clothes for my kids, but nothing for myself again. Gee…
Gosh, I have been really forgetful lately. I am assigned for a free sample review, but it was being put aside for some time. I have been using it for a few times, but I can’t come out with a conclusion yet. I have to get the review done ASAP as I have received some reminders in my mailboxes. The advertiser is rushing for the review! #$^$%#$%#
Sigh… I better start using the thing seriously now.
I don’t like sweaty sports which make me wet and dirty. I do sweat at yoga and pilates, but I don’t have to do a lot of cardio activity which I really hate. I am clueless when it comes to sports. I don’t know why men like to watch football which is a game where a bunch of men running and kicking the ball into the goal. During the football season, hubby likes to hang out with his friends where they will have drinks and bet on the games sometimes. Actually, these guys can just enjoy sport betting at home since there are so many websites about online betting now. Just take bet365, as an example, and they have a wallet system for the users to easily manage their accounts too.
Maybe it’s really not so much about playing the game the men like football. It should be the thrill of being able to predict the results that get them hooked. Gee… I still feel amused looking at a bunch of guys chasing after a ball. LOL!
I thought that my vacation will never come true until next year, but I’m really going for one! Hubby and I will be going to Langkawi for 3 days, and even if it’s just a short trip away, I am still excited about it. I have always loved to spend more time with him and I like going to the beach. I love sunbathing but I need to prepare a lot of sunblock on different parts of my body and dig out my bikini from one of my drawers for this trip.
I lost my slippers, I can’t seem to find them anymore. Maybe I should really get a pair of Reef Sandals from Active Sandals? Or just stick to my Crocs sandals? I love Crocs because they are comfortable and great for walking. I wore my Crocs to Bali and that’s the only sandals I wore for days!
I can’t make up my mind yet. It’s just a short trip and I don’t wish to bring a lot of things. Since the kids are not coming along, I don’t have to pack a lot. Maybe a small backpack will be enough for all my stuffs, if I leave the makeup and skincare at home!
