I tried Raspberry Roots Collagen Eye Patch by The Face Shop yesterday and I love it! I don’t see immediately lifting on my eye area, but the eye patch is very comfortable and it sticked to my skin tightly and didn’t fall off while I was taking care of my kids or doing my stuffs. Not all eye patch can have full contact with our skin, I tried quite a number of them, and this eye patch really patches on well.

For better effect, maybe I should put some eye serum first before using the eye patch. I will try it again next time when I am feeling for it. See? For beauty freak like me, just get me some eye masks and I will be so happy to try them on. Besides, they are definitely more affordable that any cheap hotel Las Vegas. But how come none of the guys I dated gave me beauty products except my hubby? No wonder I ended up marrying him. LOL!

A friend of mine is coming back from Europe for Chinese New Year and he will bring along some friends who plan to spend some time in our country as well as our neighbors. He’s been asking about interesting places to go, and I ask him to check out my travel blog. LOL!

Actually, with the information available on the internet, it’s much easier to Travel to Asia as comparing to many years ago. They can easily find more info about flight, accommodation and tourist spots from websites like Asia Travel Market or others. I checked out the website just now and found that Singapore is having the Chingay Parade on 15 & 16 Feb’08. It’s one of the grandest parade with huge glittering floats that show the multi racial culture of the country but there are other performing groups from other countries as well.

I haven’t been to Singapore for that festival, and I don’t think it’s possible for me to plan a trip there in February anyway. But if my friend is willing to drive towards the south, he can bring his friends there for the parade. I think it will be fun. BTW, they better spend some time on our beautiful islands too. So, is Redang clear from the raining season now?

I used to like the songs by Spice Girls, during those years, you will not be living on earth if you don’t know who are the Spice Girls are. For since they split up, I only pay attention to Posh Spice aka Victoria Beckham because she dresses quite well most of the time. Besides that, she’s a mother of 3, and I wonder how much she really spends on getting herself into that shape?

As for their singing, I don’t care much about it now. But nonetheless, if you are interested, you can sign up for their concert Tickets at Viagogo. The girls are back on tour this year, but the tickets are not out yet. I think these Concert Tickets will be very expensive, but most die hard fans don’t mind spending a fortune on them to watch the girls reunited and singing live again. Frankly, I really admire those fans who are willing to spend a lot on the CD, posters, goodies or anything of their favorite celebrities. I won’t do that because it sounds like a waste of money to me.

I would rather spend on beauty products or shopping for my favorite stuffs. All these concert or Sports Tickets are really not for me. I guess everyone has her own preference huh? But seriously, how does Victoria get that body?

One of my buddies had just started a new blog about lingerie. She’s an expert in selling lingerie, so I’m not surprised by her new blog on that topic. That caught me thinking, should I start a blog about undergarments too? LOL! No, I would rather spend my time window shopping for lingerie than blogging about it.

I found one which is cute yet sexy from Lingerie Diva and I just love it.

Oh well, if you are confident with yourself, you can just pair it up with a pair of platform shoes and snap a few photos in the garden just like the photo. I bet your neighbors will be peeping over the fence if you do so. LOL!

But then again, don’t you think it’s nice for Valentine’s Day? Just use your imagination on what can you do with that lingerie, ok?

I haven’t slimmed down a lot even if I replace my lunch with oats for weeks. I think the main reason why I didn’t lose weight fast enough is I don’t go for yoga regularly. I knit a lot lately, and sitting there for long hours is definitely not a good form of exercise.

I have a fitness equipment at home, but I have never used it. Hubby bought it and I hardly see him using the equipment too. LOL! So, I wonder if I should get myself a bottle of Christian Dior Plasticity Anti-Cellulite Corrective Gel For Body? I used this after my second labor and I’m quite pleased with the result because it’s not sticky and absorb pretty fast.

However, I don’t really like the scent. Another option I would go for is Shiseido ‘Body Creator’ Aromatic Sculpting Gel. I used this before too, and I love the scent and smoothness after every apply.

Both of them are quite expensive, and I know I can’t see much with just a bottle. It’s definitely a long term investment for me.

Tell me what to get for my hubby besides golf equipments? I used to get Valentine’s cards, but they seem like nothing special now. If only I can afford a nice Vacheron watch and hopefully, I will get Piaget Magic Hour in return. LOL!

OK ok, it’s best to be realistic and reasonable when it comes to presents. No point getting one that I can’t afford it, and I hate credit card debts. Maybe I will just get him some skincare products for men. How about Biotherm Homme?

I bought lots of masks from The Face Shop and I started using one of them a week later. I tried CO-Q10 (Coenzyme Q10) first, and here’s what I think:

• I don’t like the scent. It smells like alcohol to me, and I found it listed as one of the ingredient too.
• The size of the mask doesn’t fit me well, but then again, every one has different face shape and size.
• I have redness on my face when I took off the sheet mask 10 minutes later. I don’t think it’s suitable for me so I won’t buy this mask again.

A few days later, I tried Ceramide mask, and this one works better for me. Nonetheless, I still have some complains:

• The size of the sheet mask is definitely not for me again. Coming from the same company, I think all of them might be produce in the same shape and size, so there’s nothing I can do about it.
• I have redness, but it’s not as serious as the time I used CO-Q10.
• My skin was really moist and hydrated. The hydration effect was quite pleasant.

I still have a few mask from The Face Shop and I will try all of them soon. As for the sleeping mask, it’s working well on me in terms of hydration but not lifting effect. I can’t use it everyday too, my face has some milia if I do so.

Justine Case

I have been thinking about getting the justine case by Benefit Cosmetics for quite a while but I didn’t have time to visit the counter in KL. I know that I can just buy it online, but I would like to try out other items from Benefit as well.

But if I’m too desperate to get my hands on the set before Chinese New Year, online shopping is my only option now. Of course, it would be great if I can use some promo codes that waive the international shipping fee no matter how unlikely it is. Maybe I will find it selling at cheaper price at Amazon huh? If not, I would have to persuade hubby to bring me along on his working trip to KL so that I can do some serious shopping!

Tell me you think it’s gorgeous too. I saw the ads from a few magazines and I’m tempted to get one now. To someone like me who hardly wears makeup, it’s more like a collection to me even if I can use the colors for both eyes and cheeks. I might not even use it a lot because I don’t want the patterns to wear out or smeared by me!

Nonetheless, I will check it out if I have time for shopping this weekend.

Since Chinese New Year is coming, I might want to get some clothes and shoes in pink and red. It’s a tradition to us to be dressed in red especially on the first day of Chinese New Year. Black is definitely out from the color chart as MIL is very consecutive when it comes to our family traditions.If only I can get one of these ebel watches in pink, don’t you think it’s nice?

I have shoes in pink and red already, and I only need to get some tops in the same colors. BTW, should I get some more makeup from Clarins since the casings are mostly in red?
