I went shopping just now and at first, I wanted to check out the new makeup collection by Estee Lauder.
I like the natural color of the eyes and lips, but most importantly, I wanted to get my hands on the latest mascara that can last as long as 15 hours. I have problems getting a mascara without smearing, even if I bought those waterproof mascaras, most of them won’t work for me. Why???

Too bad they don’t have the Double Wear mascara yet, and the promoter couldn’t tell me exactly when will it arrive in Ipoh. Gee…how disappointing as I was hoping to archive the effect of nice lashes like this:
But then again, I bought another mascara from Lancome. I was think about getting Lancome Virtuose Mascara but it’s not waterproof! After trying out the rest of the mascara from Lancome, I made up my mind to get the Amplicils from Lancome instead.

I’m moving to Bangkok soon and I will be rather busy for the coming months. There are so many to do but luckily I don’t have to rush for anything yet. I just don’t feel like stressing myself out as my skin will get worse if I do. Frankly, I’m in the mood of having a holiday again since it’s Valentine’s Day tomorrow.
If only hubby is a romantic guy who takes Valentine’s Day seriously, then I can expect to receive some flowers, chocolates, or a nice Spring Break Getaway on a romantic trip with him. Seriously, which woman doesn’t want to be swept her feet away with surprises or romantic plans on Valentine’s Day? But not many guys will do this, especially after marrying for a few years. Hubby gave flowers a couple of times, but he missed a few years as well!
Frankly, if he have more time for us, I don’t mind going on a family trip on Valentine’s Day. I can’t be too selfish not to bring my kids along on a trip, even if it’s supposed to be a romantic getaway. But anyway, I don’t think we have the budget for staying at one of the Delta resorts now, we need a lot of money to start all over again in Bangkok. I think everyone should have seen the photos by now. If you are a regular internet user, it won’t be too hard to you to find some photos of the involving girls like Bobo Chan, Vincy Yeung, Gillian Chung and Cecilia Cheung. They were in bed with Edison Chen, so I guess they were all filmed. Sigh….
Frankly, these girls are pretty and young and it’s shocking to see those photos exposed. BTW, it’s not easy to erase those photos from the internet now as they are moving and downloaded faster than you think. But thank god they were not printed on some trade show displays since that’s illegal, if not it would be harder for the girls to get over it. Besides that, Asians are different from the westerners. Paris Hilton can easily get away with her sex video, but over in Hong Kong, it’s totally a different scene.
But like what they said, at least the guy has a nice body and the girls are pretty. :p
I was searching the net for something else and I came across this old news about a women with cerebral palsy symptoms who earned a doctorate from the University of Washington. She’s Kristin Rytter and she can’s speak or use her hands or feet. But I’m amazed with her courage and determination in completing her studies and research. Frankly, I’m amazed with her achievement and I think that women like her are beautiful too. I know that we have always measured beauty by looking at supermodel as benchmark, but sometimes, we are blinded by our vanity.
So, beauty does come in a different meaning, but if you are still as vain as me, there is nothing wrong about us too.
If you can read Chinese, get a copy of the latest With magazine. It’s a magazine translated from Japanese, so if you can read Japanese, just get one too. I seldom care much about my hair until I have this short haircut now. Why? It’s because a lot of people told me that I looked younger and slimmed with it. When I had long curly hair, I looked more mature, and thus, added to my age. But now, I think I look energetic and younger with bob cut. However, if you don’t want to cut your hair, just use the tips written on With magazine. You can easily take away 3kg from yourself if you do your hair well. Of course, by illusion ok?
I guess it’s great to know that we can just use our hair to fool the world without worrying much about weight loss. Besides that, not everyone can easily slim down on their faces even with the help of facial slimming products. So, if our hair can help, why not pick up the skills and tips of doing it ourselves?
I can’t remember the amount of cookies and peanuts I took yesterday. Basically, it’s about junk and gambling all night long. I took some can drinks too, so I’m on my way to gaining some weight during Chinese New Year! The best part is we had fun playing mahjung and poker. Considering the fact that I only play once a year, my skill is pretty rusty but I won some money. Yippie!
BTW, if you are wondering why we gambled, that’s what we do during Chinese New Year. Most Chinese do so. Some of my friends will even play all night long and they won’t sleep. It’s definitely so much fun than online casino, but sitting for long hours, dipping everything in the mouth during gambling will definitely be bad for your waistline!
But then again, it’s only during Chinese New Year that most of us will do so. Then let’s just get back to having fun and win some money on the first few days of Rat year, ok?
I noticed that I haven’t taken good care of my lips for the past weeks and I have some chapped lips again. I can’t blame anyone but myself for being so lazy at my beauty routine. Nonetheless, I can’t let it worsen because Valentine’s Day is just around the corner! Don’t you wish to have kissable lips on Valentine’s Day? I sure do! I like those lips of celebrities like Angelina Jolie or Shu Qi, both of them have the prettiest and plumpest lips I have ever seen.

I tried other lip plumper products before, and most of them made me feel like I was putting chili on my lips. With chapped lips, it’s not a good idea to experience that burning sensation now! I don’t know much about phones, but I like to see which type of phone a lady uses. Some friends of mine only go for phones which are stylish and don’t care much about the function. As long as the phones take good photos and play nice music, they will most probably buy it.
But most guy friends I know will go for practicality. They care about the designs of the phones too, but I notice that they tend to find out more about the phone specification before buying one. Some ladies are like this too, but not a lot. So far, I only know a few who know so much about phones just like men. One of them are using an iPhone, and she has started a blog about it. I went to her blog before, but I don’t know much about what she’s writing about. LOL! I guess once iPhone is getting popular here, maybe I will know more about it.
BTW, Apple iPhone by Rogers has already been launched in Canada. I think I will just drop by the retail store one day to take a closer look at the phone. But my Nokia N95 is still doing well, I don’t think I will get a new phone any sooner.
I have been very lazy to do my own body scrub at home so I booked a session at the spa center. I thought they would be using some salt scrub, but they convinced me to try the new scrubbing cream from Lucy Belle. This grape fragrant scrubbing cream has grape extract and alpha hydroxy acid and mildly softens and removes the cuticles, thus your skin will be more radiant after every use. But it has only 110g per bottle, so you can only use it twice for the whole body.
So, if you do it at the spa center, they will mix the scrubbing cream with fresh milk which will enhance the whitening effect. How was I flattered!

After that, the therapist will massage the mixture in spiral motion all over your body. It’s like a body massage, but replacing the massage oil with scrubbing cream. It took about an hour to complete the whole session and a you definitely need to take a shower after this! It’s been 3 days after my spa session and my skin is still smooth and soft. So, I really like the scrubbing cream, but again, I’m too lazy to do it by myself!
