I like the makeup at Alberta Ferretti’s Fall runway.
“It’s a watered-down sixties look,” said Peter Philips of the heavily lined eyes and pale lips he created for Ferretti’s Fall collection. “But it’s less refined and more rock ‘n’ roll than Brigitte Bardot.”
The look was created with Chanel Pro Lumière Professional Finish Makeup SPF 15 for a semi-matte complexion, and highlighter was used on cheekbones and temples instead of blush. Not everyone can carry this look but you can go for that flawless skin with the makeup base.
Nonetheless, if you have dramatic eye makeup by lining the whole eye with Chanel Le Crayon Kohl Intense Eye Pencil in Black and curl the lashes with Chanel Inimitable Waterproof Mascara Multi-Dimensionnel in Black, then you will have more focus on the eyes.

Do you notice that the lips are kind of pale too?
The models’ mouths were daubed with foundation instead of color. “It gave the lips a uniform tone that was neither too pink nor too pearly,” he said. (For a look that’s more real world than runway, Philips recommends using beige lip color on lips and adding a peach-hued blush to give cheeks more life.)
So, don’t just follow the look exactly unless you want to look sick and pale. I would definitely add some lip gloss on my lips!
I came out with a simple plan of losing weight, and so far, I lost 2kg in 2 weeks. I try my best not to rely on top diet pills to gain faster result, and I found that it’s not that hard to lose weight if I do it naturally and take it easy. One thing for sure, I try not to weigh myself everyday as it’s quite discouraging if I can’t see the difference in 24 hours. I only weigh myself once a week, and I feel better seeing some slight improvement. LOL!
On top of that, I’m thinking of picking up belly dancing to tone up my tummy area. Dancing is always fun and I haven’t tried belly dance. Let’s see if I can join the class this week and get myself more exercise. Oh ya, I better remember to put on my Clarins’ Extra-Firming Body Care or Total Body Lift before I head for the class. LOL!
I heard about this product from an actress on TV. She bought it from the plane, and she claimed that it’s good even if it’s quite costly. I read about RevitaLash again when I was browsing through some Japanese magazines, so this thing must be really hot? I haven’t seen it being sold anywhere in Malaysia, or have I missed it?

It’s actually an eyelash conditioner that will nourish the lashes to make them look longer and thicker. I really need something like this as my lashes are too fine, I can’t live without mascara. Besides that, I permed my lashes, so they are quite brittle now. RevitaLash might moisturize my lash and keep them in healthier shape.
However, this product is quite expensive. I found that it’s selling at UDS150 from some website, so I wonder how many life insurance reviews I need to write to fork out that money? Of course, I can just swipe with hubby’s card and get it online but I prefer not to. I still want to find out if it’s available in Malaysia. Don’t you want to try it out first?
I love my new hand cream. I’ve been using it for more than a week and it’s great. For the past 2 weeks, I did lots of laundry and cleaning, my hands were not as moisturized by the end of the day and my nails became brittle. That cream helps a lot in preventing my nails from crapping.
I might not have time to go for manicure this weekend, so I might just file my nails by myself. I like to have shorter and rounder nails because I don’t want to scratch my kids accidentally. It’s best to keep them short with a nail file. That’s why I’m thinking of getting a new nail file because my old file is not as sharp as before. I wonder if I should just get the FOREVER FILE from nails inc. because this nails bar file has grits that last longer, and I just need to rinse and leave it to dry after every use.
After filing my nails, I would normally apply some nail strengthening polish to protect my nails. But if you are looking for related products, you can just get the nails inc. treatment pack specially designed for weak and peeling nails. Frankly, this set is so much cheaper than what I’m using now!
BTW, I need some nail colors this season. What do you think about the colors from “ready to wear spring summer collection 2008″ by nails inc.?

I went back to yoga class on Tuesday and I felt great about it. I haven’t been exercising as much as before, and I gained weight after traveling to Bangkok.
I have to learn more on resisting those delicious Thai food!
Besides exercising, I’m wondering if I should try out Beauxlim which claimed to be one of the best diet pills that doesn’t have side effect.
• Suitable for long term usage and NO SIDE EFFECT.
• Results differ from individual to individual, 4 - 6 weeks in average.
The pills are not expensive though as I checked out the price at Guardian. So, has anyone tried it? Does it work that well?
I was given a few samples from Dermalogica but I ended up buying a tube of Multivitamin Hand and Nail Treatment. I prefer skincare products with fragrance but most of the products by Dermalogica are fragrance free, so they are not for me.

I’ve been using it for days and it’s non greasy, so I don’t have to worry about staining my keyboard! LOL! I think guys can use this hand cream too, it doesn’t have flowery or a sweet smell after use. My brother who’s working as a life insurance agent might find it useful as he has ugly nails. He bites his nails when he’s stress, so maybe the hand cream will nourish his nails more.
Did I mention that we went shopping just now? LOL! But anyway, I bought something least expected and hubby was wondering if I’m going to bake for him. Yes, I bought a roller glider after reading about some popular slimming methods from With. I know that it might not be effective, but anyway, I am willing to do some experiments. Who knows? Maybe that wooden stick can save me from Albany liposuction when I’m so fat one day?

See? Just some simple exercises. So, let me try them out for fun.
P/S: My friends said I’m so fat, they can’t recognize me anymore. Thus, I start going back to yoga class frequently instead of sitting there for knitting. Of course, I will have to watch my diet as well. I wonder if I should get some diet pills huh? Or maybe just exercise with the roller glider? Hopefully, I can slim down a bit before I change my whole wardrobe. LOL!
I went to get some stuffs at Guardian just now and I couldn’t help noticing the bottles L’Oreal Revitalift Double Lifting Eye Cream which were being placed on the rack. They are only selling at RM49 (or RM49.90?), so it’s worth a try.

I’ve been using La Mer Eye Concentrate for months and I’m still in love with it. However, I don’t mind using this product to see if it’s really that effective in lifting up the upper eye lids. This double eye cream comes with at intense tightening gel, that re-tightens skin instantly upon used. Maybe it works like a temporary eye lift or just some tingling sensation? That I will have to find out one day.
I haven’t bought the eye cream. If I get it just now, hubby will be wondering how many pairs of eyes I have. I better shop alone.
Maybe I will grab a bottle of Loreal Dermo Expertise Revitalift Double Lifting Gel and Anti Wrinkle Cream. Maybe it will save me from having a San Francisco facelift. LOL!
Westerners and Asians have different perspective in beauty. While some western girls are trying to reduce their nose, some Asian are going for nose job for taller nose and some of us don’t even like our button noses. Just bring an Asian baby around and you will be hearing comments like “she has double eye lids! she has a tall nose! She’s so fair.” See? The common standards that define a pretty Asian girl in the eyes of Asians.
I wonder if there’s any Asian girl who changed her mind when she’s heading for a rhinoplasty nose surgery in Manhattan, NY? Maybe she’s approached by some ang moh guys telling her how gorgeous she was and how he liked her button nose. Will you change your mind of getting a nose job if someone praise your nose?
Anyway, maybe some makeup tips can help to make our noses taller huh?
I’m not so particular about green products and I’m prefer skincare products with fragrance which smell much better than the natural ingredients. Nonetheless, if you have sensitive skin or you prefer organic skincare products, then you might want to find out more about the green skincare solution by Doctor D. Schwab.

These green products come in various range and you can basically find anything you want for a complete skincare routine. One of the natural skin moisturizers caught my attention though, which is the Rescue Cream.

This face cream has healing properties of Bee Pollen, Royal Jelly and various botanicals like Arnica and Aloe that help to calm the skin and promote instant relief. If you have just done a laser treatment or having some surgical wound, you might think about getting this cream since it’s very affordable.
Nonetheless, I haven’t tried them out. Let me know if they are great, ok?
