Hubby and I only realized that our office will be closed for a week in celebrating Christmas and New Year. We only found out about this yesterday! At first, we were planning for a trip to Chiangmai for the weekend, but since most of the hotels are fully booked and the room rates are very costly, we might just postpone the trip to January, which is always the coldest month in Chiangmai.
So, what are we going to do during our year end holiday? My kids will have school holidays too, and it’s a great time for traveling. SIL has invited us to join them to Hong Kong and Macau, but thinking about moving along with 2 active kids and luggage bags from point to point, it doesn’t sound like a relaxing vacation for us. Hubby said that’s nothing much to do except shopping in Hong Kong. 
If only I can get shuttle services like JFK Airport Shuttle which pick us up from the airport to our hotel and bring us around in the city in avoiding the crowded public transport, then maybe hubby will change his mind about going to Hong Kong. If we go to New York, then I will most probably check out the pricing of GO Airlink Shuttle since it offers transport services throughout the Big Apple and its surrounding suburbs. It will be easier when traveling with kids.

I removed my hair extension some days ago, and I feel like I need a new look. My hair is off shoulder now, but it’s rather plain. It’s been such a long time since I have shoulder length hair, and it’s not colored. Normally, I will go for a style, but this time, I think I look like silai. LOL!
I’m actually quite tempted to get a hair cut but once I think of how long will it take to keep my hair long again, I dare not step my foot into the hair salons. Having short hair is nice, especially bob cut. But then, I had bob cut for a year already, before getting hair extension. I really want to have new look, without changing the length of my hair. I wonder if it’s possible…
BIL has just told me that they are planning for a trip to Bali! I really hope that we can join them, even if we have been to Bali before. But then again, if we have the budget and time for a year end vacation, I hope that we can go somewhere we haven’t been before. I have always wanted to fly to US, but I still don’t have a chance to do it so far.
Maybe one day I shall arrange a trip to US with my friends and family. I know that all of us will have an enjoyable trip together, if we plan it well. We might need to get a charter bus nyc in advance too, to avoid using the public transport in NY. Sometimes, it’s not convenient to use the public transport in a foreign country, especially if you are traveling with young children. I prefer to have a fixed agenda where we know what to expect on the day and worry less about the mean of transport to get to the destination.
But since we don’t have the budget for an expensive trip, I guess Bali is a good option. That gives me a reason to keep in shape and dig out all of bikinis!
I love my hair extension but lately, some of my hair strands have fallen off but they were stuck in the glue of the hair strand extension. It looks like I’m having a serious dandruff problem but it’s not dandruff! I need someone to help me to cut them off, but hubby is too busy to do so. Sigh…If only I can do this on my own!
All I need is just a pair of scissors and a helper as I can’t see them at the back of my head. I don’t want to remove the hair extension yet as it’s pretty costly to remove them. I admit that it’s not convenient to have hair extension, but I’m not desperate to cut them off with a box cutter yet. LOL!
I just need some help to maintain the look…
Bangkok will never have snow in winter, but I hope that some days will be windy and cool. If so, I can dig out my trench coats from the closet and wear them to work. LOL! Of course, I won’t pair them with UGG boots but with high heel pumps. I saw a few nice mini coats while shopping lately, but still haven’t made up my mind if I should get some. They are pretty costly, and I’m weighing out the number of times I will be wearing them.
Let’s see if I can fight the temptation of shopping for them, if I fail, my wardrobe will have a few more items for winter in Bangkok.
I like makeup palette that comes with everything from blush, lip colors and eyeshadows. It’s convenient to bring one around in my handbag, especially for traveling. I think I will check out this makeup paletty by Christian Dior when I fly back to M’sia next month. I’m curious how much will it cost at duty free and hopefully it’s not too expensive.
I can’t seem to find the link to this image which I saved in the flash drive days ago. I saw this CD makeup palette from Style.com, but now I lost the link. I guess it’s affordable, considering that it comes with nice colors on everything.
I’m in loved with Virtuose Black Carat mascara by Lancome. I’ve been using it for a week, and I like the effect on my eyes. I try not to use the battery operator lash curler lately to prevent brittle lashes, so I need a mascara that’s good enough to hold the curves and lengthen my tiny lashes. Virtuose Black Carat mascara is just right for me!
It won’t smear, but I’m not sure if it will if you cry a lot. The hot tears might “melt” some of the mascara, so you better don’t hide your face in the cradle if you don’t wanna mess up the crib bedding. Use your own pillow instead!
The only thing is, I don’t think it’s easy to be remove. Maybe I’m not using the eye makeup removal by Lancome? Or I should soak up my cotton pad with more eye makeup removal and cover my eye area for a little more longer. Let’s see if it can be easily removed tonight.
I’m in serious shopping for beauty products again, and this time I went for Lancome. I needed a whitening moisturizer to replace my almost empty bottle of Estee Lauder Re-Nutriv Revitalizing Comfort Creme. I’m all into whitening products lately, and besides that, I need a new mascara as my Cyber Colors is clogging up! Thus, Lancome came into mind. It’s easier to buy them all at Lancome so that I can get more freebies. LOL!

I guess I’ve spent a lot on skincare products lately but well they will last me for at least 2 months. The amount of money spent is more than writing 200 paid reviews on CAT5e, I guess. I still have lots of free samples in the drawer, so let’s see if I can finish all of them this time, or just leave them there until they expired. LOL!
I can see some positive effect on my face now, even if I haven’t gone back to my previous “fairness”. LOL! It’s impossible to be fair again if I always go out in the sun in Bangkok, but these days, the spots are less visible. They are still there, but not as dark as 2 weeks ago.
I’m using the whitening serum diligently, and I change all my skincare products for whitening range for weeks now. I will continue to do so until end of the year when the weather changes because I need better moisturizers for my dry skin. So, I’m going to spend a bomb buying skincare products again in 2 months, but I think hubby won’t mind much because it’s lesser than paying for a trip to las vegas! I’ve been longing to go honeymoon again, but he is too busy for that. So, I will compensate the trip with my shopping spree!
I hate my mornings sometimes. I have to rush for lots of things, and I hardly have time to really put the creams on my face, so let alone the makeup. Now you know why I hardly use makeup! I really don’t have time for it.
This morning, hubby complained that I was late again and I have to speed up my process in less than 30 minutes. I already did everything in 20 minutes! But still, it’s not fast enough. It really pissed me that I have try my best to be quick, but I’m the reason why they are late for school. Gee…
Most of all, hubby didn’t think that I’ve woken up earlier and earlier, and he still put the blame on me. Argh…He can forget about me studying his business performance management software now because I’m not in the mood for working. I want to go shopping to release my tense!
