Shopping at Sasa

I dropped by the nearest Sasa outlet yesterday and grabbed a few items. Besides getting some skincare for myself, I bought 2 products for hubby too. It’s hard to get him to take care of his skin, but at least I will nag him into washing his face once in a while. :P

It’s still early to say if I like the stuffs I bought as I haven’t tried all of them yet. Besides that, I haven’t snapped any photos. I’m so lazy here in Penang. :P I haven’t checked out the free directories of shopping malls too, so I haven’t shopped for days, except at Sasa. How unusual. LOL!

Home Sweet Home

It’s nice to be home but I don’t have internet connection here. That’s the downside and gosh, I think my system memory has gone mad by not being able to log on as usual!

Nonetheless, I get a lot of rest here, and it’s totally stress free. No more early morning, no more cooking, no more working but just taking care of my kids and knitting. Life is good in Penang, as long as I don’t overeat and gain weight. LOL!

Free Samples from Lancome

I love collecting free samples or after purchase goodies from skincare counters. Besides the curiosity of trying out various products, I can pack these mini sized bottles along while traveling. During my “glory” days, I had 2 drawers full of free samples and goodies but I threw some away after some time, or gave them out. Most free samples have a shelf life too, so don’t you forget that!

I’m not too particular about using the same products when I’m on holiday. Most of the time, I will be in the sun, so my skin sucks even if I have sunblock on. LOL! It’s due to the fact that I am lazier to spend time on skincare, and would rather do something else during vacation. But once I get back, I will take good care of my skin, even if it cost me an AED to get a small tube of face cream!

Packing Up!

I’ve just weighted my luggage, and it’s overweight! It’s not like I packed a lot of stuffs or medical equipment but it’s still overweight! Gee…15kg is a mission impossible to me! Thus, I log on to AirAsia and change to bigger luggage. That will save me a lot of time during checking in later.

Maybe I don’t really sort of my stuffs and just dump everything in. Check out my mini skincare and cosmetic pouches. *faint* I just feel like bring everything along. LOL!

Lancome Blanc Expert GN-White New Whiteness Spot Eraser

After 3 days of outing in the sun, I got tanned and my spots were very obvious. For someone who was always in the sun at high school and knew nothing about skincare, it was a bit too late for me to prevent brown spots. So, I always put sunscreen on my kids whenever possible to prevent them from having brown spots when they are older.

Then again, I got myself a tube of Lancome Blanc Expert GN-White New Whiteness Spot Eraser and I’ve been using it for more than 2 weeks.

Lancome Blanc Expert GN-White New Whiteness Spot Eraser

I don’t see any whitening on my skin yet, but the spots are slightly lighter and my skin tone is more even now, especially after all those sunbaths! I am using it day and night, after my toner, and before my normal moisturizer by Estee Lauder. So far so good, and I don’t have any skin problem by combining the different brands together. But for better result, after you apply a layer of the serum, try to squeeze a few more drops and apply on those spotty area, especially on the cheekbones where most of us have our spots. Then, wet the cotton pad (or the one you use for toner) with whitening toner and place in on the cheeks, covering the serum for a few minutes. I learnt this trick from nue ren wo zhui ta program and it works for me.

I guess I will stick to this serum for another month or more, especially since I have another island escape trip coming up in November. After that, I will switch back to anti-aging serum. Gee…it sounds like I do spend a bomb on skincare, other than clothes and shoes. LOL! Just like most men spend on car accessories such as spoiler, gadgets and etc.

A Great Week!

I’ve just had a wonderful week and I’m so happy about it! I did my hair, nails, facial, shopping, checking out some jewelry and met with some friends all in this week. Besides the nice food I had, which I might need to get the best weight loss supplements soon, I truly enjoy this week to the most!

Nonetheless, I’m very exhausted now due to lots of walking and lack of rest. I shall try my best to confine at home this weekend. Gee…I really need to catch up with my sleep!

Date with A Friend

Most of my friends haven’t seen me for years, especially after I got married, and then moved to Bangkok. But I shall meet one of my high school mates these few days, and I’m excited about it! He’s here for an exhibition on medical care and disability insurance. I might not have time to visit him at the exhibition hall, and besides that, I don’t need a disability insurance. :P But if you are looking for one, check out Allsup for its Social Security Disability Insurance and Medicare benefits.

Since this friend of mine is such a hottie gay, I shall get myself prepared for the date too. LOL! What should I wear? Mmm…but firstly, let me make a trip for manicure and pedicure now!!!

Skincare Shopping!

I did a brief shopping for some skincare products yesterday, but I haven’t snapped the photos yet. I have been very busy lately, so I hardly have time to play with my camera, nor updating most of my blogs. :P That’s why I stop creating more blogs and go for free web directory submission, but deleted a few stagnant blogs away. :P

I had been in the sun for the weekend, and I’m so roasted now. I love being tan, but not now as I have a photo session coming up next month. I hate to appear dark in photos! Thus, I bought some whitening mask and serum, which will be updated soon. Gee…I really need to find some time to snap the photos!

Ultra Sheer Complete UV Moisture by Neutrogena

Ultra Sheer Complete UV Moisture by Neutrogena

Here’s another product I grabbed from Neutrogena last week. I’m still using my sunblock by Estee Lauder, but my itchy hand could not give this new sunblock a pass. :P Most importantly, it’s rather cheap, so no harm trying one out.

I have been using it for a few days, and surprisingly, it’s really quite good, considering that I’m one of those user who hates thick sunblock. It’s really sheer and light, and it’s non greasy. If you are one of those Mesothelioma lawyers or those who travel out a lot at work, you may give this a try. It can be used as a makeup base before you foundation.

I tried it on my kids’ faces too. Any child above 6 months old can apply sunblock, but that depends on which products you are using. If you are not sure about this, check with a skin doctor if your baby can start using sunblock. My kids need sunblock when we are out in the sun, and using a face sunblock is much safer than those meant for body care. So far, they like it and it’s suitable for their skin too.

So, I might return to this product again, if I haven’t found anything new. :P

Neutrogena Fresh Cooling Body Misy Sunblock

I love shopping at Watsun. Even if I’m heading for the exit signs at the shopping mall, but if I pass by Watsun, I can’t resist myself from checking things out. :P Most things are pretty cheap here, and there is always a nice surprise for me to grab!

So, this Neutrogena Fresh Cooling Body Misy Sunblock that’s one of my latest purchase from Watsun. It has SPF30, and PA too, but what I really like about the product is it’s very light and cool my skin instantly after a spray. This product has helioplex technology which protects our skin from both UVA and UVB. Nonetheless, I’m not sure what’s its PA value. Hopefully, it has at least +++. Best of all, it’s waterproof. Thus, I’m bringing this bottle along with my SPF50 PA+++ sunblock to the beach.

Not only me, my kids love the body mist too. I apply on their skin as sunblock and it’s not stick at all. So far, my kids only like the Kids Sunblock by Banana Boat which has advanced AvoTriplex technology and it’s non-sticky. But I can’t find any here in Bangkok, so Neutrogena Fresh Cooling Body Misy Sunblock can be used as a replacement. Furthermore, it’s very affordable! :)

So, I have another new item in my handbag these days. Gee…I need a bigger handbag!
