Laser Hair Removal

A friend of mine blogged about her experience in laser hair removal and how it gave her a pair of nice smooth legs after a few minutes of tingle pain. I have very low pain threshold, so I haven’t done any waxing nor hair removal at the salons. I have always been hesitating to try one out, but I’m too coward to do so. :P

Nonetheless, if you are considering permanent hair removal, maybe you can check out laser hair removal nyc which  is done by trained experts and claimed to be a gentle process. I can’t tell you if it’s painful, but judging from the testimony, maybe it’s worth a shot. This spa is located in New York city, so if you have the bucks, give it a visit. LOL!

Actually, I have always curious about how painful is it to have a bikini wax. Some said it’s just too short to notice the pain, but I might be screaming before the process starts. LOL!

Anyway, maybe I should give laser hair removal a try. Let me see if I have the budget to permanently remove the armpit hair. Argh…shaving your own armpits everyday can be rather tedious, when 24 hours a day is not enough. :P

Off with those heads by b.liv by Cellinique

Remember that I was looking high and low for the blackhead lotion by Cellinique? My friend found it for me, but it’s in different packaging now. It’s by b.liv, but everything is the same. Sorry about the poor quality photo, not sure if it’s the Minka lighting or I didn’t set my camera correctly. :P

Anyway, I’ve been using it for weeks for my tiny spots. Not sure if it will help as I don’t have a lot of blackheads.

Happy New Year!

Year 2010 is coming in 2 days, and I hope that everyone is having a great Christmas and New Year holiday. I’m having a great time myself, and I did some shopping days ago. I didn’t get any Christmas set this year, except Estee Lauder Re-Nutriv set, so I’m a good girl this season. LOL!

But over this year, I spent thousands on skincare alone, so I shall work harder in reducing this expenditure. :P I am working out a budget for a new home and home insurance in 3 years, and getting a bungalow is not so easy here. :P So, wish me luck.

Happy New Year!

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex

My friend helped me to get a bottle of Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex from KL, and I’m so happy about it. ANR is about RM100 more expensive here in Bangkok, so it’s best to buy in M’sia than in Bangkok.

Actually, most beauty products are more costly here, but for an expat like me, it’s hard to avoid not buying any. But if someone can give you a help, why not? :) The money save can buy me an allergy bedding over years. LOL!

I’m a regular using of ANR for many years, but this is my first bottle of the improved and synchronized version. So, I hope that it continues to make wonders on my skin.

Ecotools

I bought my first set of Ecotools last month and have been using the brushes almost every day. I must say, for the price that I’m paying, I love the brushes! Ecotools are very affordable, and it’s free shipping from The Makeup Mix Shop.

Besides that, the store owner is very helpful. At first, I had some problem with my purchase through Paypal, but she’s given me a lot of guidance. Blame it on me being in Thailand but my account was set up in Malaysia! :P We can’t change our country location in Paypal, and I’ve verified this with the call center. So I have to set up another Paypal account based in Thailand soon, if I’m going to stay here permanently.

Anyway, back to Ecotools. The brush is soft, and I love the extra loose powder brush I bought. Too bad it doesn’t come with a brush bag, so I have to squeeze it in with the brush set.

So, now I know why so many beauty bloggers are raving about Ecotools. These brushes rock!

Some Random Thoughts

My mom has always thought that I wasted my degree by not working and choosing the path of being a mother. She has high expectation of me since young, and I had been a grade A student throughout my schooling years. But after working for a few years, I had that mothering instinct of putting my kids in front of anything else, so I gave up my work and business.

But now that my kids are older, I felt like going back to work again. Nonetheless, it’s not that easy, considering that I’m an expat in another country now and I don’t know much about the language. Some said that I should make good use of my free time, while my kids are at school. Maybe I should consider an online university and pursuing an online nursing degree. Not that I’m really interested in nursing, but it might be a good opportunity to me, considering that I’m so curious about working at one of those plastic surgery hospitals in Bangkok. LOL!

Anyway, please take a peep at the links if you are interesting in pursuing an online degrees or master degrees, provided by Western Governors Online University. There are various programs here which are cater for health care professionals. So check it out.

L’OCCITANE Shea Butter Hand and Foot Creams

I’m making my Christmas wish list now. Frankly, it will be ME who do the shopping because my hubby is totally clueless about what I like. Even if he does, he won’t buy it. :P He might get something else which he thinks is more useful. *slap head*

But anyway, I wishing for the Shea Butter Hand Cream and Shea Butter Foot Cream by L’OCCITANE this year.

Shea Butter Foot Cream

Being a mother who scrub the granite tile at home, I really need a good hand cream. And I have crack heels all the time, so a good foot cream is a must! L’OCCITANE is pretty expensive in Thailand, that’s why I haven’t bought any product by L’OCCITANE since I moved here. I’m quite regret that I didn’t buy them when I was back for holiday. Gee…

Anyone out there is willing to give me my Christmas pressie or not? LOL!

Packing Light

I’m one of those who can’t live without eye cream. If there is any best eye cream available in the market, I will surely be checking it out! But recently, I’m out of the sample size of eye cream. Furthermore, most brands do not provide sample sized eye cream, so I’m too lazy to pack my normal size Re-Nutriv. :P

So, I “survived” a few days without eye cream, and it’s not that bad. LOL! I was worried about dryness and fine lines, but I was having a vacation, so I can’t care much.

But right now, I better put on eye masks. I really need to take good care of my problematic eye area!

On Bikini

Some of my blogger friends were surprised to see my bikini photo in Facebook, but I haven’t thought much about it when I uploaded that photo. Firstly, it’s nothing sexy but a healthy shot with my family, so I didn’t expect to see any reaction. Most mothers are too shy to wear bikini again after child bearing as we can be very conscious with our bodies. Like others, I have surgery scar, cellulite, and not as slim as I used to be when I was single, but that doesn’t stop me from putting on bikini. Anyway, who’s looking when almost EVERYONE else is wearing one on a nice vacation island?

I used to put a lot of slimming product on myself, but I don’t have time for that anymore. I don’t even take the best fat burner even if I have been looking around and tempted to. I still have the diet pills by Boots, but I might throw them away as I’m not eating them. It’s not that I’m worried about side effect, but I am too lazy to swallow pills.

Maybe I just don’t care about my body as much as I do when I’m on holiday. Hey, why let some flaunts affect our holidaying mood? :)

Christmas Sales

Christmas sales are here!!! I’m not sure what I’m going to buy, but I am still studying the different Christmas packages offered by various brands. Gosh, I still have THB7600 to go if I want to get the VIP gift set #2 by Estee Lauder, so I wonder if I really HAVE to buy or I NEED to buy. :P

Frankly, I don’t have a lot of shopping budget this month, and with Christmas coming,  I should buy some books or toys for my kids too.

Ah…can I have more money please!!!
