I have a busy day, not only for my work, but also for my blogs. Suddenly, I have a lot of blogging tasks to be completed. It’s not urgent, but I want to finish them all so that I can concentrate on my job.
I’ve been sitting on my chair for hours, excluding my lunch hour. I guess I might need treatment for hemorrhoids because I sit until “san ji cheong”. 
I shall speed up my job so that I can leave office soon. I feel like bring the kids home early today.
I stumbled upon a TV program the other night about acne. The woman had really bad acne not only on her face, but on her back and bu** as well. Gosh, it was so bad, she could just squeeze anything out anytime of the day. I’m not sure if she’s going for the best acne treatment because I switched to other channel.
When it comes to acne, it’s best to consult a dermatologist, instead of trying to cure it on your own.
I passed by Boots just now, and caught my eyes on some beauty supplements. There are these whitening pills by Boots which are claimed to help in whitening process. Previously, I tried beauty supplements by Fancl and DHC, but after that I totally stopped. I’m not one of those who loves to swallow pills, except the prenatal vitamins which I was “forced” to take during my pregnancy.
I wonder if those whitening pills really work?
We went to check out some houses in our area, and my oh my, the price of the houses here are beyond our budget! LOL! Maybe I’ve set my limits too high, and wish for a bigger house, thus it comes with a price.
I would love to get the house with a walk in wardrobe in the master bedroom, and I’ve found one just right. But the price is killing hubby, and he dared not even think of buying it, even for the years to come. Sigh… Why can’t I get anything I want!!! It’s not that I’m asking for rustic furniture.
But after owning a house, I will surely spend a lot on decorating it. My hubby knows me well, that’s why he chickened out!
SIL plans to go to Melbourne this August, and invited us to come along as their nannies. She doesn’t like to handle her kid by herself, whenever she’s going on vacation, she wants more company to take care of her kid. LOL!
I’m not sure if we can make it, due to hubby’s new work and tight budget. A trip of 4 to Australia doesn’t come cheap. I wish to go though, it’s been so many years since my last trip to Australia, and I can’t wait to put on the Nascar jacket during winter.
SIL brought me to a nail bar that day, and it only costs THB100 for simple nail art! The best thing is, it can be done in less than 15 minutes, so it’s great for a quick nail fix. Nonetheless, I found that the work is not as nice as the nail salon I frequently visited. My nail art chipped off when I was cleaning the faucets and washing the dishes.
So, it proves that pretty nails are only for tai tai, not for working mother and silai like me!
I didn’t go to Thailand International Jewelry and Gems Fair last week due to busy schedule, so I didn’t manage to check out the certified diamonds. I wish that I can buy a diamond stone each year as keepsakes for my gal, but so far, I can’t afford any yet. So, I better work harder! Or maybe I should ask hubby to work twice as hard. LOL!
There is another fair this year, hopefully I won’t miss it again.
I missed my second IPL treatment last Friday because I was tied up with a seminar. Oh boy, with my new job, I’m getting way much busier, I don’t think I have much time for pampering now. Too bad my work is not as high paying as any New York jobs, if not shopping for branded stuffs will come through anytime now. Sigh…
Running a business is not as promising, especially for SME like me. Maybe my biz still needs more time to grow.
I’ve just found this photo, among the hundreds of photos taken in Hua Hin beach. I went for massage every day when I was there, just because I felt like I need one, and can’t have enough of it.
You can either choose oil or Thai massage, but I went for Thai. Getting striped partially in the open is not my cup of tea. I saw a Thai lady enjoying her oil massage, and she has no problem getting slightly naked, and covered with towel. I really admired her courage. LOL! Just imagine the number of guys by the pool side, probably drooling over the scene, and forgot about the life insurance quote and books they were reading.
Finally, I dropped by Wuttisak Clinic for the long waited intense pulsed light (IPL) treatment and beauty facial for my freckles. After 2 consecutive weekends on the beach, I really need to do something about my spots.
It started with the beauty facial, with collagen and vitamin C ingredient, and the use of ultra sound. It doesn’t sound like anything special, but my face is more radiant after the facial session. Next, I went into the consultation room and met with the dermatology doctor, who gave my skin and talked about my skin problem. I’m only interested in IPL this time, but not other treatments. Not to mention, the charges are not cheap at Wuttisak Clinic. I was given some skin care products too, and was advised to use them for a week. The next appointment will be 2 weeks from now.
Then, I went for IPL. It’s not as painful as I think, and in fact, it’s quite bearable, as long as you got used to the light and sound. I’ve got over 140 spots treated on my face, so it’s quite a new experience for me. A few photos were taken on my freckles, and the doctor said I needed at least 3 treatments to remove the spots, which will be carried out in 2 weeks interval. She will snap a photo again after 5 IPL treatments. I can’t wait to see if there is any improvement.
After that, I went to another room for cooling treatment. I was avoid to stay away from sun, heat and apply a lot of sun block everyday, even if staying indoor.
So, let’s see how IPL can do wonder on my face.
