Makeup Removal Sheets

I like makeup removal sheets, especially when I’m traveling. Lately, I’m using the sheets from Biore, which is great and gentle for eye area too. It’s really convenient, even if it might cost more comparing to eye makeup removal and facial removal. But I’m soooooo lazy, so…I will just stick to sheets!

Maybe I should check out comodynes too. There are some makeup removal which gently cleanse, tone and moisturize the skin in a single swipe. So why not?

Treatment for freckles

I should be spending all my money on the condo and rebuilding my biz after the flood, but I felt like pampering myself yesterday. I went for a facial and laser session again, but this time it’s not only IPL. I can’t remember the names but it’s a light treatment for freckles. I must say that I like this as it’s not painful, but more costly!

There goes my budget for home address plaques just after one session. LOL!

IPL Treatment

I’ve finally signed up an IPL course and went for my first session just now. It’s not my first session as I did a few times previously but never sign up any course. This time, I hope that I have the determination and time to do it every alternate week. I wish to get rid of my spots!

After the treatment, I was asked to stay away from the sun, strong ceiling lights and limit my time in front of the laptop. So, I better log off soon.

Laser Course

I’m so going to start my laser course this week, and maybe another one some time before CNY. No point signing up a course and forever no time to get it done. I didn’t sign up the facial course since I have another one with Estee Lauder and it’s still a half way to go. I’m not printing cash with my management jobs!

Unless I get a rich husband like this lady here….

Second IPL

I managed to spend some time on my second intense pulse light treatment 2 weeks ago, but the spots are still there. I know that my stubborn spots need at least 5 treatments to get rid of them, so unless I can fork out that much time and $$$, it’s impossible to remove the spots at all.

Luckily I don’t need the best treatment for acne, if not I would be spending more on my face!

My First Intense Pulsed Light and Beauty Facial Treatment @ Wuttisak Clinic

Finally, I dropped by Wuttisak Clinic for the long waited intense pulsed light (IPL) treatment and beauty facial for my freckles. After 2 consecutive weekends on the beach, I really need to do something about my spots.

It started with the beauty facial, with collagen and vitamin C ingredient, and the use of ultra sound. It doesn’t sound like anything special, but my face is more radiant after the facial session. Next, I went into the consultation room and met with the dermatology doctor, who gave my skin and talked about my skin problem. I’m only interested in IPL this time, but not other treatments. Not to mention, the charges are not cheap at Wuttisak Clinic. :P I was given some skin care products too, and was advised to use them for a week. The next appointment will be 2 weeks from now.

Then, I went for IPL. It’s not as painful as I think, and in fact, it’s quite bearable, as long as you got used to the light and sound. :P I’ve got over  140 spots treated on my face, so it’s quite a new experience for me. A few photos were taken on my freckles, and the doctor said I needed at least 3 treatments to remove the spots, which will be carried out in 2 weeks interval. She will snap a photo again after 5 IPL treatments. I can’t wait to see if there is any improvement.

After that, I went to another room for cooling treatment. I was avoid to stay away from sun, heat and apply a lot of sun block everyday, even if staying indoor.

So, let’s see how IPL can do wonder on my face.

Facial in Ipoh

I went to visit my ex-beautician who owns a boutique and a salon in Ipoh a few days ago, and I felt great getting a facial session done by her. She’s been my beautician for close to 10 years, and I must say, I love her facial massage the most! I’ve tried a few salon and spa over the years, both locally and abroad, especially in Bangkok, but I still can’t find one who gives me a food face massage as her. Maybe I’m too picky? Or I haven’t tried harder enough in looking for one? LOL!

Anyway, I didn’t go for acne treatment but just the normal routine which I did over the years. Best of all, she trimmed my eyebrows! I don’t know why this service is not available at facial session in Bangkok? Funny…

Facial at Estee Lauder Beauty Room

I have always been a big fan of Estee Lauder products, and if you are regular here, you might notice that I shop for their skincare products from time to time. Nonetheless, I’m a minimalist when it comes to makeup, so I hardly buy cosmetics.

I had these complimentary and makeup vouchers from Estee Lauder counter some time ago, and since I have some free time today, I decided to try out their facial. My last facial with Estee Lauder products was done many years ago, which was given free during a promotion, but I didn’t quite like it. That counter hired a part time beautician, and she didn’t know my skin condition, and the facial experience was not a pleasant one.

But today’s facial is quite nice, despite that it’s too short to me. My normal treatment facial used to be more than an hour and a half, but today’s facial was only an hour. Nonetheless, I like the products, and how my face brightened up after the session. I was given makeup too, which comes along with the facial. It’s just simple makeup, but I like it.

I signed up for their facial package, and I hope that I will come here at least once a month, on top of my facial treatment at another spa center.

The 6 products I bought, which are left at the beauty room for my facial at Estee Lauder. They consisted of Perfect Clean Cleanser, Perfect Clean Toner, Optimizer, Resilient Lift Extreme Mask, Resilience Lift Extreme OverNight Ultra Firming Creme which is used as massage cream during facial session, and also Perfectionist [CP+] Wrinkle Lifting Serum

After all, I deserve the pampering. LOL! I’m not getting any younger, so I chose the anti aging range instead of whitening facial.

I still have the professional makeup voucher, but I’m not sure when will I use it. Maybe if one day, I’m going to be aired on televisions, oh ya, dream on!!!! LOL! Then, that voucher might be useful. :P

90 Minutes 3D Face Sculpturing Facial by Socie

My friend is getting married soon but after some long nights and a few bottles off the wine racks, she has some water retention problem on her face and she looks bloated too. Seriously, if she can afford it, I would recommend her to go for a nice face sculpturing course like the one offered by Socie.

I’m interested to try it out and see if it’s effective in lifting up my eye area in 90 minutes. But the thing is, you can only try it out in Taiwan or Japan. Gee…How disappointing huh?

Face Massage

It has been some time since I gave myself a DIY face massage. I only put cleanse and mask my face, but I don’t massage it because time is limited! I only have my face massage done by the my beautician because it is more comfortable and relaxing than doing this by myself.

There are 2 different types of face massage method. The western method begins from the forehead and moves downwards, while the Japanese method (Kobido) does the opposite direction. No matter which method you choose, as long as you are comfortable to it, it should give you the same results. Here is how you can do a face massage as quoted from this site:

Face:
Massage Steps:
1.Cup hands around the head, with thumbs resting on the forehead and fingertips at the temples.Smooth out the forehead in strips-starting along the eyebrows, working up toward the hairline.
2.Press between the eyebrows with your thumbs.Repeat, moving up the center of the forehead to the hairline.
3.Massage temples, using circular motion with fingers.Continue circles down along the jawbone to the chin.
4.Using your fingertips, draw a line under the cheekbone and out to the temples.Repeat, taking the line lower down the cheek each time.
5.Use the fingertips to draw a big moustache shape from the upper lip out to the temples, and circle the temples one more time.
6.Press softly around the upper bone of the eye sockets, starting from the bridge of the nose, out to the corner of the eye.Repeat, this time working carefully around the eye socket under the eyes.
7.Gently massage the ears between your thumbs and fingers, starting at the earlobe and moving around and up to the top of the ear.
8.Pull ears very gently, again starting with the lobe and moving gradually to the top of the ear.
9.Cup hands and rest them over the eyes(it’s best to warn your partner before you do this).Ask your partner to breathe in and out deeply several times.Release the hands.

However, you have to use a massage oil or facial massage cream to ease the flow of the massage. If your face is not moist or coating with massage oil, you will get fine lines if you apply pressure and push your skin around like a dough! If you haven’t tried a face massage before, make an appointment with a beauty or spa center. It’s so great that you will surely yearn for more.
