My uncle has a few fish tanks at home because he loves fish. He has been keeping the fishes for years and he’s good at taking good care of them. Sometimes when his fishes breed a lot, he will sell of the little baby fishes to the shop, if he can’t take care of all of them by himself.
He only gets the aquarium supplies and acrylic aquariums from the shop, but little that he knows, there are online suppliers like the Fish Tanks Direct. I love art, but I stopped painting since I left high school. Don’t ask me to paint anything now except my face with some makeup. I think my drawing skill has gone for a very long time.
Thus, whenever I came across any nice piece of painting, I wish that I can afford to get one home as decoration. But everyone knows how expensive the original paintings are, even if the artist is not popular. When I was in Bali, we visited the art gallery and those paintings cost us more than a few hundreds of Malaysia Ringgit and we had no idea who the artist was!

That is something I would like to have for my dinner room one day. Most of us have plaster ceiling at home, but I think timber will be very unique. It’s not that common here because timber can be very expensive. However, if money is not a problem, I will go for it.

I can be very rigid when it comes to my beauty regime, but sometimes, I just want to be lazy. I go out at noon everyday where the sun is the hottest and my skin will be badly burnt or getting darker if I do use body sunscreen. However, I quit the step sometimes especially when I am very busy.

I prefer to shop for the beddings, curtains and sofa covers from the shop because I can see the end product and it is easier for me to judge if they will match the room and my color sense.

The furniture is FIL’s study room has been there for more than 20 years, especially the study table and the book racks. However, they are still as good as new because they were made of the finest wood many years ago. But the thing is, it is not easy to find a file chest that matches the color of the wooden furniture.
But I found one walnut veneers medium brown finish file chest from trump home furniture that will match the up with the rest of the furniture in the study room. With the antique coloration and classic design, at least the chest file will not look awkward being placed in the room!

I was wondering if the concept of outdoor kitchen works here in our hot climate. Most of us have 2 kitchens at home, one dry kitchen near the dining area and another wet kitchen at the back of the house where serious cooking will be taking place. But no matter what, most of our wet kitchen are still build within the house, but not outdoor.
Seriously, will you cook outdoor? I mean if you are cooking at 11am, most probably the sun will be shining on your butt and you are getting yourself a nice tan while preparing the lunch. I will definitely hide away unless I’m all equipped with sunblock! It’s like roasting the chicken while grilling yourself too. LOL!
But well, it’s cool to have an outdoor kitchen, but it’s not for me.
We have area rugs in the living rooms in our house. Firstly of all, they warm our feet from the freezing cold marble flooring that can be quite chilly at night. Secondly, they beautify the house!
When my kids were crawling, I prefer not to have rugs because my maid will have to vacuum it and remove it to clean the flooring underneath. When the kids were younger, she didn’t have much time for the cleaning up.
But since they are grown up now, I don’t mind them playing or sitting on the rugs. One thing for sure, I will only get those brightly and lightly colored rugs because I don’t want to have mosquitoes lurking on them. If the colors are too dark, the mosquitoes like to stay on the surface and my kids will be at risk of being bitten. Thus, we only get bright color rugs at home.
On top of that, we can easily remove the rugs and change for another pattern now because we have at least 2 for changing purposes. So, as long as the rugs are clean, of course we will be using them. The living rooms look so much nicer now.
