Dandruff

I don’t have any hair problem before giving birth to my kids. After my first labor, not only that I was suffering from hair loss, I had a problem with dandruff too. The flakes were visible at the top of my scalp and I had to be very careful at selecting the right shampoo. Frankly, I tried a few products but my dandruff condition only improved when I did some treatment at the salon. It’s quite expensive though, so I won’t recommend it at all.

I didn’t know that dandruff is caused by a fungus called malasezzia furur. This fungus is found on our scalp and they feed off the scalp oils and cholesterol. If you have been using anti-dandruff shampoos but the condition has not improved, this is because most of the dandruff shampoos fail to address that the oils beneath the scalp must be controlled so that the fungus don’t have a promoting ground to grow excessively.

Thus, if you are willing to try another dandruff shampoo, you can take a look at Purify Shampoo which is effective at controlling the itch, white flakes and treating the fungus. There are other products from the same range which includes Purify Conditioner, Clearing Spray and Dandruff Healing Scalp Oil. All these products are made from natural herbal ingredients, so they are effective at controlling the pH level of the scalp.

In short, let’s not forget about our hair. That reminds me that I need to get my hair treatment done this week. My hair is in a mess now.

Take Care of Your Hair Follicles Too

I went to get myself a new hair style today, and it took more than 3 hours of perming and coloring! Luckily, I brought along my knitting project so that I didn’t feel bored at all. One of the walk-in customer came by and sat beside me. Once she was seated, everyone around her could smell that oily scalp smell like she had not been washing her hair for a very long time. When the hairdresser asked if she would like to get a hair wash first before trimming, she refused. Wow! It was pretty disgusting until the hairdresser politely asked her to get her hair wash before coming to the salon next time!

A lot of people will only care of their hair, but they tend to ignore the hair follicles. It’s the oil scalp that creates that unpleasant odor and furthermore, it almost promotes to hair loss in long term. If you have this problem, identify it immediately and change your shampoo to those that remove excessive oil from your hair. If you don’t take care of that oiliness, you will lose your hair and become bald at certain spots.

By then, you may need products like provillus or procerin that nurtures damaged and dead hair follicles to promote hair growth. Those products are not very cheap though, so you better check out the review and ranking from Trust Source before you make your purchase.

In short, take good care of your follicles. You may have nice hair, but if you are smelly, no one wants to be beside your!

Kerastase

I used to be a big fan of this product. There were only a few salons in Ipoh that carry the brand, but I stopped going to the salons anymore. I don’t like to be persuaded to get something when what I really need is just a hair wash. But Kerastase products are great.

Since I perm my hair at least once a year, I will try to get this hair mask and use it at the end of my hair.

You don’t need that much. Just a little bit of it. I’m out of the product for some time because I didn’t go to those salon. My hair is in a mess now.

Hair Care Products

Actually, my hair is a mess. After frequent perming and coloring, the hair texture is really bad. I use hair mask as conditioner because it is richer and better at nourishing my hair. I used to use Loreal Keratase but I stopped going to that salon because I don’t like the way they do my hair. My current hairdresser only have products from Coiffure, but not all the range suits me.

I bought this orange range today, and let’s see how is the results in 10 days.

Wigs

My mum was on wig for a year after she went through chemotherapy. I used to joke to her that she looked so much better in wig as it was the one I chose after window shopping for one in many stores!

For those of you who likes to change your look, but didn’t want to change your hair style, go for lace front wigs. There are many other selection from MyWigsAndWeaves.com. All these wigs are custom extensions and hairpieces made of real human hair. Thus, they can be dyed or permed too!

I can still wear my mum’s wig, but I still prefer to change my hair style.

Bob Hair Cut

Pic Source

I wanted to have a bob hair cut, but my hairdresser was against the idea, even if I had “begged” her for so long. I don’t have thick hair, so the cut does suit me. Thus, I got the bob fringe only, but the hair at the back was layered as much as possible, but the length was remained the same.

Gee, I just can’t have my hair shorten. With thin fine hair like mine, I look like I’m suffering from a hair loss. :P

Ladies, You Shave You Armpit Or Not?

I don’t think armpit hair is nice at all. Ok, maybe Julia Roberts had a different opinion about this!

So, I think it’s necessary for women to shave or remove off their armpit hair. And please don’t think that if Julia Roberts can get away with it, so can you! It’s really unsightful, or should I say, ugly?

However, frequent shaving may lead to ingrown hair. They are a common problem for both men and women. Yes, men shave their face too, ok? Not the armpit! Thus, you need products like tend skin as the salicylic acid in Tend Skin products goes directly to work on stubborn ingrown hairs at the hair follicle. Tend Skin is powerful and effective but gentle enough to be used anywhere you have ingrown hairs, even after a Brazilian wax. :P

However, for those consumers with allergies to aspirin it is recommended you avoid use of Tend Skin since the active ingredient, acetylsalicylic acid, is the same found in aspirin. Too bad for you then!

Hair Loss

I went for a hair wash at the salon just now. The hair dresser said that since I have such fine and scarce hair, I better take good care of it as a minor hair loss will make me look bald! OMG! That’s nightmare!

How can I look pretty if I’m bald? Yes, there are lots of wigs but what if the wind is too strong one day and my wig is blown off? That’s very embarrassing!

Gee….I would go for hair transplant, definitely! My mom was on wig when she lost her hair due to chemotherapy. Even if she looks nice in wigs, but deep now inside, I knew she minded a lot about her look. So, I guess I will be the same too.

Better get consultation from New York hair transplants to get the hair back!

Hair Loss

After delivering my babies, I suffered from a short term of hair loss, just like most post-natal mothers. It started 3 months after my delivery for both babies, and stopped a couple of months later. I’m born with fine straight hair, so post-natal hair loss affected my look a lot. I didn’t go to any hair loss treatment, instead, just after confinement and before the hair loss started, I permed it to add volume to my hair. But that might not be a wiser move!

In my case, my hair loss is temporary. However, in most cases, the causes of hair loss should be identified and proper treatment should be given. To some people, it’s hereditary, and women with this trait only develop thinning hair but not going bald completely like men. This condition is called androgenetic alopecia, and there is no cure for it, but you may try some herbal treatment.

Besides that, if you don’t practice proper hair care, which includes dyes, tints, bleaches, straighteners, and permanent waves, and you don’t do proper hair and scalp treatment, your hair can be badly damaged and break easily.

As for my mom who was a cancer patient, she lost all her hair after she went for chemotherapy. She was wearing a wig for almost a year, while waiting for her hair to grow back. I used to joke to her that she looks hotter and younger in the wig that I chose. :) But I know that she prefers not to loss any of her hair, or get some treatment to boast up her hair production. At that time, I didn’t know much about hair loss treatment.

If I know about Samson’s Secret herbal hair loss product which is produced without the use of genetic engineering, I might ask my mom to try out, instead of waiting for so long to have a bob cut hair length! I prefer her to use everything organic as she’s a patient who needs extra care in all her food and daily products. I don’t wish to have anything harsh that might deteriorate her health condition further. Thus, it’s also safe for women with alpoecia as well.

Samson’s Secret hair loss remedy uses only the nature’s finest herbal ingredients. As a part of your daily nutritional routine, Burdock, Cayenne, and Nettle work together to remove poisons from the bloodstream, making your body more favorable to absorb nutritional herbs like Rosemary, Sage, Oat Straw, Sarsaparilla, Spirulina, and Kelp which promote healthy hair growth, nourish the hair follicles, and support the nervous system to reduce stress.

Over the time, you will see that your hair follicles begin to grow natural hair strands and eliminate your hair loss problem. Most importantly, it’s all about organic herbs, so we don’t have to worry about any harmful side effect.

Hair

I have curly hair because I permed it. I like wavy hair comparing to straight flat hair as I odn’t have nice head shape, like those ang mohs. So, if it’s curly and wavy,  I can create a “slope” at the back of my head.

Before I’m addicted so much in blogging and writing paid post, I’ll learn how to tied my hair after putting my kids to sleep. I bought books and magazines and refer to their instructions. I’m still not good at it, as I don’t have much time to practise now. But if it’s a dinner, I can just simply put up a hair do and go!

Hair

This is my idol in hair styling, she’s really good at creating nice hair do!

I have one of her books, and am planning to get the sequence too, if I found it!

Hair

Oh, I am not good at Chinese too, but it’s not hard to follow the steps by just looking at the pictures, that’s how I learned. :)

Ok, if you know Chinese, you can read and try these out. It’s narrated from her book.
