Suppressant

If you ever wonder if there is any natural appetite suppressants that work, maybe you might want to check out the link. I don’t need any yet because I love food. :P

But if I’m under a lot of stress, I might lose my appetite and don’t feel hungry for hours, even if I skip meals. It’s bad to skip meal but I might forget about eating at all, once I get too tight up with work.

Vitamins

I try my best not to go on any pills, unless it’s vitamins, which I hardly take as well. I hate swallowing pills! Thus, maybe I won’t read about extenze side effects unless it concerns me.

I’m so busy to even take any health supplements lately, and the vitamins are expiring soon. Oh boy, I better push hubby to take them soon!

7 Hours Sleep

With the new school term starts today, I’m getting back to my old routine of getting up early, and busy like a bee whole day long. I’m so going to make sure that I have at least 7 hours of sleep every night so that I will feel fresh and energetic throughout the day. Even if I don’t have an orthopedic mattress, I’m trying my best to get some quality sleep.

It’s quite hard to have uninterrupted sleep, with my gal keeps waking up and climbing to my bed but still I will try to tug in early so that I can catch some cat nap before it happens after midnight.

I think my skin will thank me for my effort in getting more beauty sleep!

Don’t Smoke

I must say that the cigarettes packaging looks kind of scary to me. With black ugly lungs, deformed babies, and all sorts of disgusting photos, I really can’t look at them at all, let alone buying one. So, I don’t know why other smokers feel looking at those photos, while taking their puffs. Maybe they can’t be bothered? Or some might want to stop smoking.

Anyhow, it’s a disgusting yet effective campaign, to someone like me who can’t take seeing one. Anyway, I have never smoked, and will never be.

Low Carbo Diet

I’m going to kick start a low carbo diet, starts from today. I have been eating like a horse for weeks, so it’s time to take a good care of my body. I looked so awful when I tried one some dresses at MNG yesterday, it’s totally depressing.

I’m not sure if I will get anything from proteinpowder.net, but maybe it’s not the time to get help from any diet supplement yet. I shall try eating healthily, and even if I hardly have time to exercise, at least it should help if I’m controlling my calories intake.

I must really slim down now!

Fighting Flu Bug

I’m still fighting the flu bug even after 2 weeks. The main reason is, I don’t have enough rest over this period of time, taking care of the kids who fell ill. Even if I take daily multivitamin, I don’t think it helps much.

If you have ever had influenza, you would know how “deadly” this virus is!

Anyway, the kids are getting better, and that’s great enough. I shall work on my health next, and try to eat better and rest well. I can’t rest more, that’s for sure. But I will try to get as much rest as possible.

Bad Week

I had a really bad week taking care of my sick kids and hubby. Needless to say, my skin gets worse slightly as I don’t have time to apply skincare as usual. But my kids come first, so it’s more important to nurse them back to health than spending time on creams and lotions. :P

My boy’s hospital bill kills my shopping budget this month, I guess. We don’t have an insurance coverage here, so we had to fork out our own money for the bills. So, it’s best to get ourselves insured. Even if you are disable, you can still get a coverage, especially this Medicare part D plan. You can get it from Allsup where they will assist disabled people to get themselves insured. You don’t have to pay for it, it has been paid for through FICA taxes. So, make good use for this benefit.

Gee…I wonder how much we have to pay for our coverage here as expats?

Drink Lots of Water

I’m down with flu for many days, and my skin is not as radiant as before. Every time I got sick, my complexion worsen, so I can’t do much except getting more rest and fight the flu bug away. At the same time, I am drinking a lot of water to keep my skin hydrated, if not, it would have been worse.

We have a distributor water filter at the office but I still prefer my distilled drinking water. Kind of wasting money in the long run since I need at least 2 bottles of 1.5 L water each day. :P

But anyway, unless they change the filter on time, I would prefer not to drink the water at my office. :P

Getting Enough Sleep

I’m so glad that I manage to sleep more lately, even if I can’t do it every night, but I am getting more sleep than I used to be. Some times, I sleep more 8 hours, and wake up feeling fresh and alert. I don’t even need an alarm clock to wake me up and I can just get up on my own after getting enough rest.

The fact that my kids have almost sleep through the night helps a lot too. But I should get the allergy mattress covers since my skin can be rather sensitive, and I don’t want to have any bug bites at night.

Hopefully, my dark circles won’t be too bad if I can make sleeping my priority!

Losing Weight

I’m not one of those who really goes on diet all the time. I do watch what I eat if I feel that I’ve gained more than I can bear, but I hardly rely on pills or any means to lose weight fast. So far, my weight is quite stagnant, and will be plus or minus 1kg. I have never had a yoyo weight before either.
