I still can’t made up my mind on which blush to get. I have shortlisted 3 blushers from different brands and here they are:
- Lancome Magique Blush (Soft-Radiant Mousse Blush)

I seldom put on foundation and I prefer to have a natural look. That’s why I’m thinking of getting a mousse blusher which can be easily blended onto my cheeks. I’m not sure about the texture yet, so I will have to test it out first.

The reason I’m attracted to the blusher is the packing. It looks so cute! I think the pink looks really nice as if you have just came back from a nice holiday on cruises.
- Shiseido The Makeup Accentuating Powder Blush

It has sculpting 3-D Powder that adds depth to facial contour. I’m just wondering if it will work for me.
So, which one should I get? Or maybe I should try all the blush from one counter to another first huh?

This product caught my attention as I saw a few makeup artist using it on the show. Some of the actresses are recommending it as well, but I haven’t got anything from Bobbi Brown. I don’t use a lot of makeup, ok?
However, it’s not easy to get a long lasting eyeliner. I don’t have the skill for liquid eyeliner, that’s why I have been thinking if I should give the gel type a try.
If you are not convinced, check this out…
Just Announced: “Allure” Best of Beauty Award Winner (October 2007) and Best Long-Wearing Liner Award from “In Style” (April 2007). This innovative eyeliner offers the precision of liquid liner and the ease of a gel-based formula. Color is long-wearing and water-resistant. Can be used to create subtle to dramatic looks.
But it’s not easy to apply!
Dip tip of Ultra Fine Eye Liner Brush into gel formula (coat both sides of brush head). Wipe off excess on tissue before applying to eye. Work quickly as product becomes transfer-resistant once dry. To remove, use Instant Long-Wear Makeup Remover.
I’m just not good with brush!

You see? I found another product that I need to check out from the stores again. But I’m too busy for shopping lately! There are so many “pending” items in my shopping list that I need to get, including this Maybelline Color Control Gel Base. I would like to get the one in yellow for my eyes as I’m sick of covering the dark circles with concealer or highlighter which is not that natural. Maybe I should just change the skin tone first before putting on my foundation. I’m willing to give it a try.
But firstly, let me see if this is available first. I think it should not be expensive as well.

I found this set of makeup from here. Don’t you think it’s nice? There are snow flakes designs on the eyeshadows and 4 different shades of lip colors too. It’s quite convenient for traveling and still look hot in the season’s latest color. BTW, I like the pouch!
I’m not sure how much does it cost here, so I will have to check it out when the product is being launched here. Or is it here already? Any Kose fan? Let me know ya?
I prefer to get cosmetic from Japanese companies as I feel that the color and texture of the products are more suitable for my skin tone. You know, most Chinese look “yellowish”, I’m not fair enough, so it’s a bit hard to look good in some colors. I used to get a lot from Shiseido, but maybe I will take a look at Kanebo this time. I haven’t bought any products from them, but their new autumn collection looks nice, so I am curious if they will look good on me.
The new products have grande shine ingredients in them and they will be quite shining. So, you better check out how to use them from their makeup video if you don’t want to look too shiny! Too bad it’s the texts are written in Japanese, I have no idea what they meant.
I have been reading lots of magazines about makeup and skincare, but I seldom get makeup book because I’m not sure which to get. Besides, I hardly wear makeup, so I will most probably be reading the book and keeping it away later. But if you are looking for some makeup books, check out the Top 10th list (but there are only 9) of makeup books from About.com.
But if I would to get one, I will choose those books from Taiwan or Japan. After all, Asian women have different features from Caucasians. So, it will be easier for me to imitate if I would to try my makeup skill on my face.
I have not bought any makeup from Anna Sui before but I have always love the casing and cute designs of makeup products. I have seen them being introduced lots of time on TV, but I haven’t get myself closer to any of the Anna Sui’s counter in KL or Penang. I hardly put on makeup and even if I buy, they are only meant as collection rather than being used practically. However, most of the makeup are both functional besides being cute.
I like this face powder because the golden casing is gorgeous. Don’t you think it looks like something antique?

Besides that, this ring lip gloss is great to be worn as an accessories. Most of the time, if you are out for party, you will only be using a mini handbag or a clutch. So there isn’t much space for your makeup. But this ring lip gloss will be perfect since it is wearable on finger. You can reapply on your lips anytime for that glossy shine effect.

If I get this, I won’t bring along my lip brush when I’m out. Just use the tip of the finger and dab the gloss on the center of the lips. That should do the trick.

I thought I would get this Air Touch Foundation from SK II, but after thinking about it for some time, I decided to forget about it. I know that the end effect will be really nice as if you don’t have anything on your face but the complexion is even out, however I doubt that I will have the same effect as those professional makeup artist.

So, I think I will just get the compact powder instead. This should be easier for me since the unique “triple power transformation” will change from solid form to a creamy liquid texture and it will glide smoothly and easily on my face.
Ok, another item has been added in my shopping list. Now what I need is to get out from the house and shop again!

I was surprised to see this eyebrow kit from The Body Shop hiding in my drawer just now. I can’t recall that I bought an eyebrow kit for myself!
It’s actually…
A versatile compact for neat eyebrows and perfect definition on the eyes. With two ultra-fine powders and a compact double-ended brush: a brow brush at one end and an eyeliner brush at the other. Dermatologically and opthamalogically tested.
Damn, how come I can’t remember I bought such a cool stuff? Jialat, I got to dig my drawers more often, I might find a little surprise everyday.

Ok, I don’t put on makeup regularly but I can’t seem to put my mind out of this! The Estee Lauder Blockbuster Makeup Set has been lingering in my mind for weeks. When I received the mailing, I was thinking should I get the set this year? I have been collecting for a few years, but missed the set for the past 2 years because I was too busy with little babies. But now, I’m itchy. My fingers are itchy to get them!!!
However, what am I going to do with them later? Collection huh? Don’t ask me to give to friends, I will only give to my mum.
Sh*t! I’m still thinking about it and I will go shopping later. Jialat, very hard to resist.
