I would love to do something fun once in a while. Unlike some of my friends, I don’t have friends here, and I don’t have any help with the kids. So, I’m pretty tied up mostly. I miss going for coffee, high tea, spa, screaming myself silly on atv, and do lots of shopping. Frankly, I wonder if I will ever have great time like this again.

Maybe by the time I can afford to be myself again, I will be too old to try anything.

Pretty Preggies

I’m not one of those mothers who look pretty in pregnancy. I was so bloated, fat and my face was the biggest during that period of time. I tried to dress well, but still, I looked like a whale.

Nonetheless, I did keep a good care of myself, buy prenatal vitamins and tried not to be too active when I was diagnosed with placenta previa.

If I would to be pregnant again, I would like to look as good as those Hollywood mama.

Quality Time

I’ve been reading news, forums, and FB for hours. It sounds quite boring but it’s a good way to relax my mind. Kids are attached to hubby and TV, and it’s such a bliss to have a moment by myself. Hey, I’m a working mother who brings the kids along to my office, so I very much deserve this break!

But I shall stay way from computers for the next few days. It’s time to spend some quality family time.

My Teeth

Being a coffee drinker, I don’t have nice teeth. I should have gone for whitening, but I didn’t have time to visit the dentist yet.

I wonder why my parents didn’t insist on me having bracelet, if not, my teeth will be better looking too. There is so much to be done on my teeth, if I want that sparkling smile just like those commercials on TV. But it takes a lot of money and pain!

It’s the pain that I can’t cope with.

Little Green Bar

I thought I saw a little green bar up there when I loaded this page, mmm….does that mean that my blog has a page rank now? Yippie! After close to 3 years of owning this blog, I can finally get a page rank for it. It won’t mean much when it comes to making money, and I can’t even pay any insurance quote from the Adsense earning from this blog, but that little green bar still makes me happy.

On Bikini

Â Some of my blogger friends were surprised to see my bikini photo in Facebook, but I haven’t thought much about it when I uploaded that photo. Firstly, it’s nothing sexy but a healthy shot with my family, so I didn’t expect to see any reaction. Most mothers are too shy to wear bikini again after child bearing as we can be very conscious with our bodies. Like others, I have surgery scar, cellulite, and not as slim as I used to be when I was single, but that doesn’t stop me from putting on bikini. Anyway, who’s looking when almost EVERYONE else is wearing one on a nice vacation island?

I used to put a lot of slimming product on myself, but I don’t have time for that anymore. I don’t even take the best fat burner even if I have been looking around and tempted to. I still have the diet pills by Boots, but I might throw them away as I’m not eating them. It’s not that I’m worried about side effect, but I am too lazy to swallow pills.

Maybe I just don’t care about my body as much as I do when I’m on holiday. Hey, why let some flaunts affect our holidaying mood?

A Great Day for Me

Â I was pretty busy taking care of my kids for the past few days and I was very stressed up. My boy was not feeling well, so he vomited a lot and there were a lot of cleaning up to do. He’s feeling much better today, and I’m so relief about it. Hubby is not working today, and he helped out with the kids so that I could spend some time all by myself at the shopping mall.

I went for facial, did some shopping and came home feeling better than ever. I wished that I could have more time for a manicure and pedicure session, but I didn’t want hubby to be grow nuts with our two kids at home. LOL! Thus, I didn’t manage to pamper myself more!

Nonetheless, I have a lot of nail polish at home and I can always paint my nails by myself. The main reason why I hardly paint my fingernails is I do a lot of house chores, and the paint wears off pretty quick. So, I have to repaint within a few days, and I haven’t got the time for this routine yet. Spending a few hours away at the nail bar is my much preferred choice as I don’t have to do the nail work by myself!

But then again, I have to use some of my nail polish once in a while so that they won’t end up in the dustbin.

I’m Fairer?

Â I hardly go to office since my surgery, thus SIL and I seldom meet lately. But this morning, we met at office and she complimented that I look fairer now. It’s so nice to hear because it means I’ve been taking care of my face so well. Maybe it’s due to the new product range which I’ve started recently, and also my effort to stay out of the sun as much as possible. I found that I tend to go in the sun when I am out and about, let it be just a simple trip for grocery shopping. I don’t apply body sunblock diligently anymore and blame it on my laziness. Thus, staying away from the sun is the best so far!

Besides that, I haven’t been to the beach for some time, thus I’m not as tan as before. If we are going traveling again in the near future, I would like to stay away from the sun as well. If hubby is generous enough to bring me to a nice trip to New York, I would suggest that we use Car Service NYC instead of walking around on the streets of NY too. It should be summer soon and it’s getting very sunny!

I’ve booked for facial and manicure this week, and they are one of the things I want to do when I get back to Ipoh. After 2 months of DIY, I’m desperate for some professional pampering! LOL! I wonder if I should go for spa as well as I’m craving for a full body massage. Let’s see I have time for this since I’m only back for a short period of time.

Besides that, I’m back with empty luggage, so I might want to do some shopping as if I haven’t shopped enough in Bangkok huh? LOL! Anyway, it’s good to be home!

Do It Myself…

I don’t trim my eye brows by myself and I have always been depending on my beautician or my hairdresser to do it for me. I know, I should have learned to do this on my own since I will be staying in Bangkok soon, and I’m not sure if I will find a salon that suits my taste. There’s a few that I will try out later, but I’m not sure if I will like their service.

But luckily, thick and well trim eye brows are trendy now, so I can just let my grow back to its own shape. As long as I pluck away the baby hair under my brows, that should be alright.

The next thing I need to worry about is where to continue my yoga and pilates? I hate home gyms so don’t ask me to exercise in the house. I wonder if I can find belly dance classes in Bangkok too?
