One of my worries about relocating to Bangkok is I have to find places for facial, spa, massage, hairdo and etc which provide great service at good price. Some of my friends are surprised with how affordable my month pampering is as I really found a few nice salons in Ipoh which are worth your money. So, I hope that I can do the same in Bangkok too.
Firstly, I don’t believe that an expensive salon will provide a better service but the environment might be much better. So, I think I will try by trial and error. I went for Thai massage the other night and I think the masseur did a better job that the other one I tried.

They offer facial and spa too, so I might try them out once I move there. Hopefully, they suit my taste.
A friend of mine is planning for her next vacation now and another friend is having a nice honeymoon away with her husband. I know that I’ve just come back from Bangkok, but it’s not a vacation. We were there for business and setting up a new home, so it’s not only tiring, there’s nothing special about it. I came back being sick now, so that’s how tiring I am.
How I wish I can afford to plan for a vacation this year, and if possible, I would like to go somewhere other than Bangkok! If possible, I would like to go to New York since my brother said it’s such a nice place to go. It’s not only for shopping, New York City Sightseeing is something not to be missed as well. I think going on day tours on a double decker bus sounds very nice as we have time to relax during the journey and just hop down once we reach the famous tourist spots. Besides that, my kids love to ride on the buses as they hardly have the chance here. But if you can afford it, check out the helicopter ride from City Sights NY. It would be nice to see The Big Apple from the sky! However, if you prefer to have a free and easy trip on your own, this site offers tickets to some tourist attractions in New York too, so check it out if you are interested.
So, let me just go to bed early tonight and dream all about having a nice holiday. I don’t think I can have any vacation for months to come!

Every woman has her dream wedding, and I had mine too. However, if someone asks me if we should follow the traditional
Chinese wedding of having the tea ceremony and dinner banquet, I would say no. I found that having a romantic wedding getaway is something wonderful too. If you are looking for a nice wedding location, how about Villa Nicoletta? You can just organize the wedding there with close friends and family and I assure you that it will be less tiring than having a 100-tables wedding banquet!
This villa is well furnished with a few bedrooms but if you have a lot of friends attending your wedding, they can still choose to stay at St Thomas Condos. Besides that, who doesn’t want more privacy on their honeymoon? I would rather have the whole villa all to my hubby and I if we can afford it!
By the way, did I mention that there are 4 Dell computers here? Maybe you can pack more lingerie instead of bring your laptop along. LOL! But anyway, Wifi internet connection is available too. So, if you still need to get connected on your honeymoon, you can still do so by all means.
So, does this sound like a romantic wedding to you?
What I love about being an air stewardess, besides the opportunity of flying around is being able to wear all those tight and pretty uniforms! Personally, I think MAS has great uniforms as “kebaya” looks great on anyone who has the curve. Moreover, it’s not too exposing but brings out the femininity of a woman!
That’s why I thought about going to a flight attendant school and get myself a flight attendant career when I was a little girl. I thought that it would be great flying around the world besides looking pretty in those uniforms. I was pretty naive, but at that age, who doesn’t? I might be too old for a job with the airline, but if you are interested, check out more about it from this flight attendant blog. Who knows? You might love this job.
But then again, don’t forget to take good care of your skin ok? It’s pretty drying on the plane so it’s not doing your skin any good.
My kids like the buses. If it’s a double decker bus, they will be even more excited to take a ride on it. That’s part of the reason why I love traveling with my kids since more tours move around in the cities with buses. I would love to bring them to as many places in the world as possible, when we have the money for traveling around.
A simple NYC Sightseeing tour on a double decker bus is enough to make my boy talking over it for months. He still talked about his first trip on a double decker bus, even if it’s been 3 months ago since our last family vacation. Even though we won’t be going to New York soon, that doesn’t mean I can’t bookmark the site for future reference. By all means, we will have to look for day tour providers if we would like to see most parts of New York. Of course, the price will be different by then, but as long as it’s updated, it won’t be hard for me to work out the budget.
But most importantly, is there a shopping tour for me? I would love to go shopping in New York, even if I might not be able to buy a lot!
I don’t know much about phones, but I like to see which type of phone a lady uses. Some friends of mine only go for phones which are stylish and don’t care much about the function. As long as the phones take good photos and play nice music, they will most probably buy it.
But most guy friends I know will go for practicality. They care about the designs of the phones too, but I notice that they tend to find out more about the phone specification before buying one. Some ladies are like this too, but not a lot. So far, I only know a few who know so much about phones just like men. One of them are using an iPhone, and she has started a blog about it. I went to her blog before, but I don’t know much about what she’s writing about. LOL! I guess once iPhone is getting popular here, maybe I will know more about it.
BTW, Apple iPhone by Rogers has already been launched in Canada. There are lots of great resources about the phones that you might want to check them out at http://www.discusswireless.com/iphone/ if you have plan to get an iPhone. I think I will just drop by the retail store one day to take a closer look at the phone. But my Nokia N95 is still doing well, I don’t think I will get a new phone any sooner.
A friend of mine forwarded me an email asking me to join Buzzfuse to share our latest updates about blogs and photos. I haven’t decided if I should joined her circle, but it seems like fun. What I’m interested in is the daily recommendations of items that is created in her cycle since she has a webstore! If I’m interested to get the products, I will get a 25% discount on them and that sounds very good to me.
But most importantly, Buzzfuse will just keep us updated on the latest contents of your circle of friends as well as providing a platform for you to share your views. So, maybe I should just sign up huh?
A friend of mine is coming back from Europe for Chinese New Year and he will bring along some friends who plan to spend some time in our country as well as our neighbors. He’s been asking about interesting places to go, and I ask him to check out my travel blog. LOL!
Actually, with the information available on the internet, it’s much easier to Travel to Asia as comparing to many years ago. They can easily find more info about flight, accommodation and tourist spots from websites like Asia Travel Market or others. I checked out the website just now and found that Singapore is having the Chingay Parade on 15 & 16 Feb’08. It’s one of the grandest parade with huge glittering floats that show the multi racial culture of the country but there are other performing groups from other countries as well.
I haven’t been to Singapore for that festival, and I don’t think it’s possible for me to plan a trip there in February anyway. But if my friend is willing to drive towards the south, he can bring his friends there for the parade. I think it will be fun. BTW, they better spend some time on our beautiful islands too. So, is Redang clear from the raining season now?

I love diamonds and if I have the money, I would get myself a lot of jewelry. I found that a lot of girls like to have their handphones and iPod sealed with diamonds or stones and I’m tempted to do the same to my N95. Don’t you think it’s prettier to have those stones on? Who cares if they are fake? LOL! I don’t even care if I need ipod batteries but I just want those nice stones on the iPod!
I’m not sure where can I get this done in Ipoh as I haven’t come across a store that provide this service yet. If there is one, I might want to get a quotation and get my N95 all covered up with diamonds. Fake one also can lah, as long as it’s shiny!
Most of us have handphones nowadays, and I can’t imagine doing without mine. I bring my phones almost everywhere I go and it’s a must to be when I’m trying to get connected if I don’t have my laptop with me.
But when I was having our yoga class the other day, all of us were amused by the ring tones that one of the ladies is using. She chose an old Chinese song called “Seong Hoi Tahn”, do you still remember that? It sounded funny being used as a ring tones!
Maybe she should get some other Ring Tones, like the work of Brice Carrington. I’m not sure if she can take those modern tunes and sound, but they sounded alright to me. It’s more like a personal choice but sometimes, ring tonse really affect the others around us. So, what is the ring tone of your phone? Mine is “You’re Beautiful”. LOL!
