I went to get some stuffs at Guardian just now and I couldn’t help noticing the bottles L’Oreal Revitalift Double Lifting Eye Cream which were being placed on the rack. They are only selling at RM49 (or RM49.90?), so it’s worth a try.

I’ve been using La Mer Eye Concentrate for months and I’m still in love with it. However, I don’t mind using this product to see if it’s really that effective in lifting up the upper eye lids. This double eye cream comes with at intense tightening gel, that re-tightens skin instantly upon used. Maybe it works like a temporary eye lift or just some tingling sensation? That I will have to find out one day.
I haven’t bought the eye cream. If I get it just now, hubby will be wondering how many pairs of eyes I have. I better shop alone.
Maybe I will grab a bottle of Loreal Dermo Expertise Revitalift Double Lifting Gel and Anti Wrinkle Cream. Maybe it will save me from having a San Francisco facelift. LOL!
I’m not so particular about green products and I’m prefer skincare products with fragrance which smell much better than the natural ingredients. Nonetheless, if you have sensitive skin or you prefer organic skincare products, then you might want to find out more about the green skincare solution by Doctor D. Schwab.

These green products come in various range and you can basically find anything you want for a complete skincare routine. One of the natural skin moisturizers caught my attention though, which is the Rescue Cream.

This face cream has healing properties of Bee Pollen, Royal Jelly and various botanicals like Arnica and Aloe that help to calm the skin and promote instant relief. If you have just done a laser treatment or having some surgical wound, you might think about getting this cream since it’s very affordable.
Nonetheless, I haven’t tried them out. Let me know if they are great, ok?
I seldom wear makeup but I use makeup removal to remove my sunblock base. I always practice double cleansing in the evening, unless I’m too tired to do so when I’m traveling. I’m using the makeup removals from Loreal and Coverderm, but my friend recommended that I try makeup removal wipes because they are effective in removing eye makeup such as waterproof mascara. It’s quite troublesome to bring along so many bottles of skincare products and if the wipes are great at replacing my eye makeup and face removals, I might want to try them out. So far, she told me that she’s using the wipes from Simple, and it’s effective enough to remove her makeup.
I wonder if the makeup removal wipes from Kao Biore is available at Guardian or Watson now? I forgot to get the wipes before my trip to Bangkok and I was busy with packing and getting a travel health insurance.

I might get the wipes for my next trip to Bangkok. I don’t want to stuff so many bottles in my luggage again.

When I was shopping at one of the shopping malls in Bangkok last night, I came across a road show of SK II products. I was wondering if I should get the facial treatment essence since it’s so popular. I only tried out the sample once, and I couldn’t see anything. I wonder if I haven’t tried long enough like 28 days? It’s called miracle water, so maybe there’s a different 28 days later? Or it’s just another commercial? LOL!
Of course, I didn’t get it last night. I can always get it cheaper at the duty free later if I’m interested. Besides that, maybe my progesterone level is not stable now and I don’t feel like shopping in a congested city like Bangkok today. Gee….this city is really packed with shoppers!

I guess I’m addicted to Clarins’ Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch. This is my 3rd bottle of the same product and I bought the gift set days ago. By paying RM10 extra, I’m ended up with a mascara, a lip gloss and a full size Clarins Instant Light Complexion Perfector, who won’t be getting this set?
Besides that, I bought something for hubby as well.

He’s very lazy to take a good care of his face, so instead of getting him a facial foam, I got him the cleansing mousse. Just shake and press out the mousse, how hard can that be? Of course, he needs a bottle of moisturizing gel to keep his skin hydrated for hours, but I haven’t seen him using the products.
Maybe I should just get him a Technomarine watch instead of more skincare products. *Sigh*
I bought some masks from The Face Shop yesterday and I have started using one of them. It’s Raspberry Roots Sleeping Mask with skin lifting properties. I only used it once and besides the nice smell, I don’t see anything significant with it yet.

The sales lady said it’s one of their hottest products from The Face Shop, gee…what’s so hot about it? Maybe I should use it more often and see if it works on me. I’m using Casmara with botox ingredient, and I wonder if this mask works better than my usual stuff.
But one thing for sure, most of the products from The Face Shop are quite cheap. If you are a student “surviving” on student loans, you can easily afford the products ranging from hydration, whitening or lifting. There are hair and body products too, but I didn’t get any. No point buying so many things on my first visit right?

I haven’t tried any products from Dermalogica, even if it’s such a popular brand! I was given free samples of precleanse and ultracalming cleanser by Dermalogica from a friend who’s selling the products. I wanted to get a new bottle of makeup remover or cleanser anyway, so no harm trying it out.
I prefer to use the ultracalming cleanser over precleanse. I don’t fancy oil remover, but it’s just my personal choice. Sometimes, I don’t do double cleanse if I’m too tired. I hardly wear makeup, so the ultracalming cleanser will be good enough. Besides that, how hard can it be to use either on of the cleanser? It’s not like I’m doing any environmental site assessment. LOL!
If I see my friend again before I go shopping for other skincare products, I might get the cleanser from her. But if I go shopping, I will surely go for other brand.
A friend of mine asked me this question, “How much do I spend on my face, including the skincare products and facial treatments?” Honestly, I try my best not to get the exact figure as I know I would have a heart attack knowing the truth! Luckily, I hardly buy makeup as I don’t use them much. For a woman who takes good care of her face and applies makeup everyday, the cost will be more as you will need to get some seasonal cosmetics to update your look. Stuffs like these need money, and if you make a lot from real estate flipping, you don’t have to worry anything about it.
But for most stay-at-home mothers who don’t have an income, they hardly take good care of themselves. It’s not that they don’t want to but they set other priorities when it comes to spending money. But in my opinion, you just have to look for the right products for yourself. Forget about the advertisements as not all expensive products are good as claimed. Sometimes, they are expensive just because of branding and packaging. I personally tried a lot, so I know but can’t tell which are lousy. LOL!
So, how much do I spend? I think it’s about RM500 per month. Not much huh? I don’t use makeup mah!
I didn’t shop a lot of myself in Bangkok and the only thing I got is a blouse from Zara. It’s one of my favorite brand, but I won’t get anything unless there is a sale! We bought lots of clothes for the kids, so they are all prepared for Chinese New Year. Hubby wanted to get some camping gear but after some thoughts, he let it go. It’s too troublesome moving those things back!
So, when we reached Bangkok International Airport yesterday, I quickly grabbed some skincare from the duty free as Lamer is cheaper here!!! I’m not sure about Clarins, but I needed a blusher and a base, so I simply grabbed them. Besides, hubby was willing to pay mah. LOL!

Too bad I didn’t have much time for more, if not I will end up with more than a dozen bottles of beauty products!!!

Beauty is something everyone admires and perfumes and fragrances can be a big part of that. You can get discount perfumes online for those interested in buying fragrances like mens cologne.
I have been using La Mer Eye Concentrate for a while and I love it. I won’t say that my eyes are looking great now, but there is some improvement in enhancing the brightness of my peepers. Even if the face cream is too rich for me, I am still interested to find out if there is any holiday collection is available at La Mer at Isetan.

An online exclusive, this collection brings together three signature skincare treatments – Crème de la Mer (1 oz.), The Lifting Face Serum (1 oz.) and Crème de la Mer’s latest––The Eye Concentrate (0.5 oz.). Presented in an elegant gift box, it’s a beautiful way to experience the best La Mer has to offer.
This set can only be bought online and it’s really expensive. I have to stop buying baby clothes for my gal this month if I really want to get this set!
