Thai Massage in Hua Hin

I’ve just found this photo, among the hundreds of photos taken in Hua Hin beach. I went for massage every day when I was there, just because I felt like I need one, and can’t have enough of it.

You can either choose oil or Thai massage, but I went for Thai. Getting striped partially in the open is not my cup of tea. :P I saw a Thai lady enjoying her oil massage, and she has no problem getting slightly naked, and covered with towel. I really admired her courage. LOL! Just imagine the number of guys by the pool side, probably drooling over the scene, and forgot about the life insurance quote and books they were reading.

Enjoying Massage On the Beach

I love massage, and it’s a bliss to be in Thailand as you can easily get a nice massage at affordable price. When we were in Koh Chang island, I managed to get a brief Thai massage on the beach and it’s a great relief to my joint pain.

I would love to have it a little longer but we were running out of time. But anyway, it’s nice, and it’s great. Having a massage on the beach is very relaxing, if it’s not too sunny and the sea breeze is strong.

I Need Some Pampering

It’s been a month since my last visit to the spa so I decided to drop by one of the nearby spa centers later for some pampering moment. Having a month spa is what I used to do when I was in Ipoh, but it’s hard to do so on monthly basis now.

So, whenever I have the time for it, I will surely pamper myself! Besides that, I signed up the yearly package, which is as much as the auto insurance. :P If I don’t use it, it would be such a waste. LOL! So, I better go for a session later.

Pangram, a Lively Casual Spa

I love spa but it’s not easy to steal a few hours away for some self pampering moments. :) So, I decided to go for body scrub and body massage only, when I dropped by Pangram Spa yesterday. The whole process should take less than 2 hours, and I would be in time to pick up my kids after the session.

I would say that this spa center is quite small, but it’s lovely to me.

You can just come here for hand and feet session, so maybe I will try it one day, when I have the time to. :P

That’s the room when my body scrub and body massage took place.

I tried their promotion package, and it’s quite affordable. Too bad their one hour signature massage, which combines aromatherapy, Swedish, Thai and pressure point, was too short to me. I prefer a longer session, but it’s only available in other treatments.

Besides that, I would love to bring my gal here for Happy Kid Happy Mom spa session, but my hubby said it’s a waste of money for our 3 year old. LOL! Maybe I will bring her along for spa when she’s older. :)

DIY Body Scrub

I used to have more time to pamper myself before I moved to Bangkok. Sometimes, I would have simple home spa like once a week to exfoliate my body and put a body mask on. I had body salt scrub, but some times, I liked to do my own scrub with barley and green beans. Just grind these 2 ingredients together and add some honey or plain yogurt and you will have a nice and cheap body scrub at home!

I hope that I can do this again here because I had only gone for body scrub at the spa once since I’ve moved here. I’m just too busy like a mesothelioma lawyer. LOL! But one cannot be lazy to be a beauty, so I need to find some time for myself again.

Besides that, it’s quite costly to do it often at spa salons, and I want to save up some bucks! :P So, if you are interested in DIY home spa, try out this homemade body scrub. I bet you will see a difference, and also save some money away from spending on expensive body scrubs.

Home Spa

It’s been some time since my last spa and massage session. I really don’t have time for spa in Bangkok, even if I wish to have one. It won’t be nice for me to have a day off just for spa on weekdays, and my weekends are all occupied for my kids. So, that’s why I hardly have time for spa in Bangkok.

I think anyone can easily enjoy spa at home, if you have a nice bathtub. My bathroom is very small and it doesn’t come with a bathtub. If I’m allowed to refurnish the house, I would surely check out the discounted Bathroom Furniture and choose a nice bathtub for myself! It’s not hard to find a good bargain at Better Bathrooms, and if you are interested, just hop over to the link provided. If you can afford it, go for its jacuzzi collection! You can get 25% off at selected jacuzzi products, so don’t miss it. How I wish I can have a jacuzzi so that I can enjoy spa at home!

But the thing is, we are renting a house in Bangkok, so we can’t renovate the house. Besides that, we can’t buy landed property yet under certain circumstances. So, I can forget about having my own bathtub or jacuzzi in Bangkok now…

Nonetheless, I did go for water spa days ago. I feel so much better, but I’m hoping for more.

Thai Massage

I love going to spa and massage, but I don’t really fancy Thai massage as it’s not as comfortable as Balinese or Swedish massage. However, if you feel like you are having some stitch joints or muscles, go for Thai massage.

I actually took some photos of how the therapist bended hubby’s legs and arms in various angles, but they are too ugly to be shown on my beauty blog. LOL! He asked her to give him harder pressure and as the result, he felt pain through out the 60 minutes massage. LOL!

Anyway, I hope that I can try some Balinese massage this weekend. I have gained some weight on my stay and I don’t take any diet pills like generic Phentermine ok? So, maybe I can just ask them to concentrate more on my flabby thigh and tummy with slimming essential oils. Mmm… that will be great.

Home Spa

I’m going for spa again tomorrow but not at my regular spa center. My friend has set up her spa business, so I signed up a package with her. Hubby is going to join me for the session, but in separate room ok? LOL!

She’s been suggesting that we get the SG2000 home spa unit from Grand Sun since the price is affordable and we can use it at home. Nonetheless, I don’t have a bath tub and even if I do, soaking myself in the tub for 20 minutes sounds like a luxury for me when kids running and screaming around in the room. I just have to do this out of the house!

On the other hand, hubby suggested that I might think about this as a business opportunity in Bangkok since spa is very popular there. Nonetheless, the idea of setting up a new business, renovating the place, looking for leather office chairs and other furniture as well as hiring staffs which I can’t communicate with doesn’t sound like something exciting to me. I have been really lazy for the years and I don’t feel like running the biz all by myself. I don’t mind help hubby with his though as long as I’m not the main player. Frankly, I would rather fill my free time with shopping and spa. LOL!

So, if you can afford it, think about setting up a home spa, it’s more convenient doing it at home huh?

Body Scrub

I have been very lazy to do my own body scrub at home so I booked a session at the spa center. I thought they would be using some salt scrub, but they convinced me to try the new scrubbing cream from Lucy Belle. This grape fragrant scrubbing cream has grape extract and alpha hydroxy acid and mildly softens and removes the cuticles, thus your skin will be more radiant after every use. But it has only 110g per bottle, so you can only use it twice for the whole body.

So, if you do it at the spa center, they will mix the scrubbing cream with fresh milk which will enhance the whitening effect. How was I flattered!

After that, the therapist will massage the mixture in spiral motion all over your body. It’s like a body massage, but replacing the massage oil with scrubbing cream. It took about an hour to complete the whole session and a you definitely need to take a shower after this! It’s been 3 days after my spa session and my skin is still smooth and soft. So, I really like the scrubbing cream, but again, I’m too lazy to do it by myself!

Ayura Spa at Langkawi Spa and Beach Resort

I signed up the spa package at Berjaya Beach and Spa Resort during our trip to Langkawi last month. My kids were not joining us, so hubby and I could spend some time for body and foot massage respectively. Most of the therapist from Ayura Spa are Balinese so you should know how relaxing their massage methods are.

I like the surrounding of the spa. It’s built in the woods and it’s so quiet!

Too bad we couldn’t try out the pools as they were under some maintenance. We only went for whole body massage and hubby and I shared the same room.

I took aromatherapy massage while hubby tried deep relaxing massage. It should be quite painful for him, but he slept through the session. LOL!

The next day, we had foot massage by the poolside.

It’s so nice to have some pampering under the blue sky while enjoying the sea breeze.

But then again, I have lower tolerance for pain and hence I was fully aware of what’s going on and I screamed at some spots of my feet. On the other hand, my hubby was enjoying the pain. Gee…how to enjoy???

I missed my spa appointment on Wednesday. The lady at the reception desk called me up 2 hours after my appointment. Excuse me, why can’t she call me earlier? LOL! I better don’t miss my spa next week. I need to have some pampering again.
